Re-releasing Stay Tuned for Danger!

There was no blog post yesterday because I was working hard on making a new trailer for Stay Tuned for Danger. Why? Because of this:

That’s right! We have written out a full work-around for how you can get this game to work on newer computers! STD (or STfD) was discontinued years ago since the old game had sound card issues with the newer computers and the operating systems. Now, we have brought it back in digital download (there are no changes made to the actual game and mystery). Simply follow the installation instructions we have written up for you here. We made a video for you to follow along, too:

Anyways, here’s the new trailer!

As for the weekend puzzle, here’s the solution (click on the image for a larger view):

Does anyone think the orange pumpkin over LJ’s head mean anything? Isn’t it too early to decorate for Halloween?

    Love it!

    YES!! 😀

Hi LJ, Just for fun, could you put up the STFD demo up now that you are selling it? I heard you can get a bonus key that opens the drawer. It could get people interested in the game! So many people want to play the demo, I would even pay 99 cents to do it : )

    Thank you!

  7. LaRue says:

I guess it’s better than nothing but a lot of people were hoping it would be remastered.

  8. Erika says:

Can you use the same techniques to make it better if you have the disc?

  9. Hayden says:

Hi l j is stfd in stores

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hi Hayden! STfD is not available in stores. Only online. The digital download is available on our site, but if you are looking for the physical version, you’ll be finding it used elsewhere. 🙁

I had no idea that there was a demo for stay tuned for danger. Since you are not able to upload the demo is there any other source to download it from? Were there other demos like The final Scene, Secret of the Scarlet hand, and The haunted carousel?

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hi Andrew, I believe the demos where hosted on our own site, but since they are no longer compatible, we don’t want to offer something that doesn’t work. 🙁

  11. Savannah says:

Will this game ever be available for Mac users?

  12. James says:

I had the original game as a kid in 1999, I think I bought it in 2000 actually. But either way, I loved this game, super fun and the dated graphics of the original had a hilarious yet creepy aesthetic stoked to find out it’s been rereleased.

  13. Sarah says:

I just bought it as my original disc won’t work, however, despite following all instructions in the video, there isn’t a setup.ex in my file folder….any thoughts
