Postcards, Cameras, and Bobby Pins! Oh My!
▼ Potential Spoilers Down Below! ▼
Hello, Sleuths!
Congratulations to all who figured out our latest puzzle on Friday! I hope you weren’t left scratching your heads for too long (shoutout to the super sleuths who solved it in 10 minutes!) I know it’s been a while since I’ve taken to writing on the blog, but it’s only been because I, as well as the rest of our wonderful team, have been working SO incredibly hard on Nancy’s latest case — Mystery of the Seven Keys! It’s been an absolute dream working on this game and I can’t wait for you all to learn more! That being said, let’s take a trip down memory lane and talk about some bobby pins!
Our latest reveal video for Nancy’s Prague packing list!
I remember the very first time I played the Phantom of Venice and you had to grab a bobby pin from Nancy’s closet to pick the lock at Fango’s office. It was after that I always had a bobby pin on me whether in my hair or in my backpack for school since you never know when you’re going to need to pick a lock… especially if you’re eight years old like I was when I played that game!
I also think the Nancy Drew movie with Emma Roberts coming out right before that didn’t help my need to always carry a magnifying glass on me and beg my mom to buy me penny loafers (if you know, you know).
And can I get a little commotion for our new camera system! You still have the zoom options like before (See Leela Yadav’s zoomed-in glamour shot below) AND you can move the camera around easier by just using your mouse! I can’t wait to see every zoomed-in shot of Radek and Oskar you all take (and other characters too!)
Nancy Drew: Warnings at Waverly Academy – Bonus Edition!
Now touching on postcards, can you name every single game that either started or ended with Nancy sending a postcard to someone back home? What about your favorite memory with Nancy’s camera? Comment down below! I wonder who she will be sending a postcard to this time? 😉
Follow along for more updates about Nancy’s upcoming mystery and we can’t WAIT to share more with you all! Stay Sleuthy!

Post card moment, sort of… The third image Nancy captures gave me a tingle of deja vu, as if we were in the lobby and facing the front door. In the TRT castle, we found post cards in the area to our left (I never can remember stage right and stage left directions) but did not exit through the front door. In this new game teaser, the expanse of floor leading to the open doors just made me think for a moment about TRT. And history. And old buildings. And post cards.
