Nostalgic Thursdays

Today’s Throwback Thursday moment is one of my favorites!

We are having a one-day sale on Curse of Blackmoor Manor in honor of this memory: get 50% off the digital copy when you use promo code CUR50. You know what that means? (It comes to $4.99!) Such a great deal, I think, since it is a fantastic game. 😉

Anyways, I went snooping through some old art files and guess what I found in Message in a Haunted Mansion? Bird’s eye views of these rooms! This pictures look quite similar to a certain classic board game I love to play…

No way! That is so cool! This gave me an idea…I would totally play Clue: Nancy Drew Games Edition! I love the arts and the game! It’s not my favorite but I enjoyed MHM…even though it scares me but I like it 🙂

Wow! Those are amazing! They do remind me of clue, haha now I want to play! Who’s your favorite character LJ? Mine is Miss Scarlet.

I really like the extended editions of Clue (particularly Clue FX) where there are two extra characters: Mr. Grey and Miss Peach. Miss Peach was my favorite.

      Aww thanks! 🙂

Last night I spent some time making Nancy Drew Memes (fun!) How can I show them to you?

This is completely unrelated but I just saw the cover art for Sea of Darkness and the Nancy Drew logo letters looked really strange, please tell me that the logo isn’t changing and that it’s just my imagination.

I love it when you post art from the games. That is one of my favorite things. Those rooms are so cute from the top. Like someone above said, they look just like a little dollhouse!

Wow this is extremely cool! I immediately thought of Clue before you even said it! Those birds-eye views of MHM are soo pretty.

Little Jackalope, have you ever seen the movie version of clue? I must say Tim Curry as Wadsworth was the best 🙂 Plus he’d make an amazing ND villain!

  16. Kaya Malone says:

It’s so cool!! Do you have any bird’s eye views like this, from another games?

Ohhhh my goodness, in all my years around these message boards I never came across this post, and I’m in love. Any chance these have been made into posters/prints for purchase? I would love to have a few framed.

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hi Emily! Glad you found our little treasure trove. I really like these screenshots, too, but unfortunately, they were rendered at a resolution too low for print quality. If they were printed at their regular sizes, they would only fit in a small frame to sit on a desk. 🙁
