Winter Solstice

Yesterday was winter solstice — the shortest day of the year and the furthest we are tilted from the sun (unless you are in the southern hemisphere — in which case it is the longest day of the year for you). Loulou the parrot mentions this in Curse of Blackmoor Manor.

Speaking of CUR, this makes me think of the song that Jane sings with Ethel behind closed doors: Bridgette’s Ballad.

“Bridgette with her eyes so bright / Look toward heaven’s starry night…”

And now I’d like to play that game again! Gah! Also, these upcoming couple of weeks is a great time to play games that include snow… like The White Wolf of Icicle Creek, Treasure in the Royal Tower and Warnings at Waverly Academy.

Which games are best to play on your winter break? Perhaps instead of a snowy game, is there a classic game that you want to revisit for memories’ sake?

As for the weekend puzzle, you’ll need to take a look at a phone. (You count the number, then the letter found on that button.) The answer is [Beware the lighthouse].

I assume “Beware the lighthouse” is a reference from SEA…? Hmmm.

Hello LJ! I was just wondering if there has been any progress with the possible Easter Egg in CRE!? Though the discussion a group of us had on the message boards has died down for the time being, I’m sure we’re all still eager to see if the people who can read the code can see if there’s an Easter egg πŸ™‚ Any chance that you could help with that πŸ˜‰

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hi Will! We have reached a sort of dead-end with the egg in CRE. Yes it does exist in the game, but there is some back-end code that is not accessible to player’s view that requires one of our internal team members to research. And we are still waiting for when that team member has available time to look into it. πŸ™

Thank you for the reply! Hmm…OK! πŸ˜€ If that person ever does have time (No hurry! πŸ˜‰ ) I’d love to know what they find! Thank you so much for looking into this!

Hi, Little Jackalope! Have you by any chance discovered anything about the potential easter egg(s) in The Creature of Kapu Cave? πŸ™‚
