Cooking Contest Winners!
The Annual Summer Cook-Off Contest winners have been announced! Yet again, the many participants impressed us and made the voting process very difficult to narrow down to only a few winners. SO many of the video entries this year had me laughing for days. Everyone really stepped up their game, and the entries were on a whole new level this year, in my opinion! Therefore, we have to call out some of our honorable mentions as well. Check them all out on our contest page!
I think it is no secret that the video category was my favorite category to watch everyone enter. What categories did you like? As a reminder, we had Main Course, Desserts/Baked Goods, Healthy Game Food Fun, and Video Submission. What categories would you like to see in the future? I know if I could enter, I would probably make a dessert and enter the video category! I got to experience that excitement in a way back in April when I made Nancy Drew a birthday cake for an Instagram Reel! In case you missed it, here are some photos of that tasty dessert!
Also, we had a birthday to celebrate over the weekend!

Any news on the next game? We miss the 2 games a year. Haven’t heard nothing since MID came out. Would be nice to get some updates. HER use to. All the time.
Hi A Concerned Nancy Drew Fan, we are planning on having a game 34 and will release any news surrounding a new game on our social media, our website, and the ASB blog! Keep checking back from time to time! 🙂
Hey Indy! All these entries look fantastic! It must have been hard to pick winners.
I was wondering if you could make some of the previously available printables available again? It might take some digging, but I remember there used to be a site for Waverly where you could make a Student ID card and a promotional site for Shadow at the Water’s Edge (I think it was a paranormal investigator blog?) where you could get a Ghost Hunter certificate. There were other ones too I was looking for but can no longer find. Hope you are up to taking on this case! 😉 Stay sleuthy!
Hi Sassy Detective, these specific printouts were offered before my time at HeR but they sound AMAZING! I will definitely start poking around our archive and try some other tricks to see if I can find the specific ones you brought up. Do you happen to remember what the investigator blog web URL was?
Hi Sassy Detective! Using the Way Back Machine, you can see what the website used to look like. Hopefully, you can download the printouts that way! Let me know if it helps! https://web.archive.org/web/20091019110109/http://www.warningsatwaverlyacademy.com/index.html
Hey Indy! Thanks for getting back to me. I actually did find the links on the Way Back Machine but they don’t work anymore unfortunately. Once you put all the answers in, it’s a dead end. I believe the Investigator blog was featured on Shadow at the Water’s Edge’s game page a while back.
Hi Sassy Detective,
I think I found the ID card download. In the next blog post, I will add it!
You’re amazing, Indy! 😀 Can’t wait!
