Today we celebrated the First Day of Fall with a pumpkin spice latte, which I immediately colored in Nancy Drew’s silhouette on the cup. <3

Hi Little Jackalope, this is pretty random, but there’s this carousel that I love to ride . . . it makes me feel like I’m Nancy in The Haunted Carousel. The city’s coucillor (whose name is PAULA!)wants to keep it at Centre Island Amusement park, and is trying to get enough signatures, otherwise, it’ll probably be sold and removed! This carousel is such an important part of Toronto’s history. Would you consider including it in one of your blog posts? Only 464 more signatures are needed. I don’t know if you’ve already attempted this but would it be possible for you to request a little bit of information from those above you? A letter from the CEO and/or the Marketing Team explaining the recent changes would be wonderful, I think, for a good majority of your customers. (By recent changes I mean the lack of communication and apparent secrecy involving the new game)
I know you personally do not have anything to share and by your usual phrasing it appears you are either not given any information or they require you to lie by telling us you have no information other than there is no release date(which we already know)I find it very hard to believe that after 2 years there is absolutely nothing to share, so something new would be greatly, greatly appreciated!!

Hello DCollins. It is possible to request more information from above. However, we have no news to share at this time, or any behind-the-scenes tidbits or business decisions to indulge you with. I’m sorry you have experienced a lack of communication, but we try to answer as many questions and comments as we can get to on the web site, via email, or on Social Media. However, our message is still the same: we do not have any information to share at this time. I hope to show and share more game news in the future once we get closer to the release season.
Thanks so much for getting back with me! I do have one more question. Is the reason you have no news, behind-the-scenes tidbits, etc…due to the outsourcing of the game? I didn’t know if all the games are now fully outsourced or just certain aspects of it? This kind of ties into wondering if you can find out when the new voice actress for Nancy Drew will be announced as well.
Sorry to plague you with questions, I had several and sure appreciate any answers you can give!
Also, I wanted to list the following as suggestions for future communication from HER to customers (this is based on various things I’ve read on Facebook and on the Forums in addition to my own questions)
1. Are the games now fully outsourced or are certain aspects are still done in-house and if so, which ones? (Possibly a picture/video tour of HER, including an interview a few key employees?)
2. The new Nancy Drew Voice Actress’ name (what’s up with that situation anyways? We’ve heard absolutely nothing since Lani Minelli left/quit/got fired…could throw some light on that situation, too in the process if y’all can)
3. What is the current status of MID (still in planning stage, design stage, recording, Beta Testing?)
4. What direction is the new CEO planning on taking HER? Is she going to be more fully focused on the STEM/Codes & Clues or Homeschooling or just the original Nancy Drew games? Or all of the above?
5. A letter from the CEO addressing her current Customers and acknowledging the changes she’s made and the different form of communication she’s chosen since taking her current position.
6. Can you attempt to dispel the rumors that HER is in dire financial straits? The biggest rumor is stemming from the multiple sales that are occurring weekly. And also from the most recent job posting HER has listed.

Hi again DCollins, as I mentioned in my previous comment, I cannot share any news, behind the scenes information, business plans or decisions, reasons, or anything else at this time. As for the rumors about our financial state? Those are just rumors. 🙂 And the person who left HI went to start her own business in another avenue (awesome!).
