Past Holidays & Future Wishes

Christmas with my families was fun and relaxing this year. We watched football games, rode in a horse-drawn carriage, put puzzles together, played old video games together, and ate a ton of food. I’m sure I made at least two batches of homemade eggnog — but consumed all of it and didn’t share with anyone. XD

I’ve seen a few fans had a little Nancy Drew in their holiday season! One fan received a few Nancy Drew games (so cool!) and I was excited to see more fans wearing their new t-shirts from our Amazon selection:

What was your favorite gift this year?

There were SOOOOO many great cookie entries this year! It is always a tough job to cast a vote on the top three, when I think there should be like, 50 winners. Here are a few runners up that need some fame time:

Now with Christmas over, we get to look at the new year ahead of us! I’m not the kind of person to make resolutions, but rather a wish list of things to do in the new year. Here’s my wish list:

  • Promote Midnight in Salem! (Even though I’m not making the game and can’t rush the process)
  • Get more Nancy Drew merchandise!
  • Travel to someplace Nancy has been
  • Eat another KoKo Kringle
  • Host more Twitch parties!
  • Make another Nancy Drew mini-series on YouTube
  • Finish the Treasure in the Royal Tower strategy guide

Well, that’s my start. Do you have a resolution list, or perhaps a wish list for 2017?

“Finish the Treasure in the Royal Tower strategy guide” made me laugh so hard, no idea why. The first two I agree with more than you could imagine.

LOL, it’s been a lower priority for me since there aren’t many puzzles in that game for people to really NEED the guide. But still, it’s nice to have a walk through if you are a first-time gamer and that’s the game you start out with.

I love your list! I hope they all come true- especially the first one 😉

Is Tess the intern still at HER? If she is then does that mean she has been employed full-time now?

Puzzles are the best! Did you ever buy one of the ND puzzles when the merchandise store was still running?

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hi Elijah! I did not, I wish I did now. Perhaps there will be more available in the future? We are still working on finding a partner to make the products.

For Christmas I got Nancy Drew Stay Tuned for Danger, Secrets can kill remastered, Lights, Cameras, Curses, Resorting To Danger, Alibi In Ashes, Deadly Divise, and Tomb of the Lost Queen! I now have completed the Nancy Drew game collection! I love your games! Can’t wait till Mid!

I’d love to eat another Koko Kringle, too! Any chance they’ll ever be made available for purchase?

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hi Sarah! It’s very unlikely they will be made available for purchase since we are not a candy-making company, but there is a high chance of them coming back in future sales and as contest prizes. 😉

I got several games actually! Twister, Deception, and Medallion. I was going to get my sister and me Brother/Sister sleuthing team shirts, but they were sold out 🙁 DO you have any idea when more will be in stock?

  8. StarWarsLover says:

I got Shadow At The Waters Edge. I have never played this Nancy Drew game and I am so excited to be scared to death! 😉

    • Little Jackalope says:

Awesome! That one is a creepy game! Play it with a friend, and in the dark. 😉 For best playing experience, that’s my recommendation.

One of my New Year resolutions is to read more Nancy Drew books, considering it’s been a super long time since I enjoyed one. Usually, since I don’t have a computer anymore that will download a Nancy Drew game, I can simply enjoy a game through a book based on a Nancy Drew game! How cool is that? 😀
