CNC on TV and Scopa

Yesterday it was announced that Codes & Clues will be featured on the Kid Genius channel on Comcast On Demand, along with other educational shows. What this means is more kids 5-8 will learn about Nancy Drew, introducing them into her world at a young age.

(I promise, we aren’t turning into a TV show company! We are still a game company.) We are excited that this form of Nancy Drew will be on TVs serving 22 million people — which could reach new fans. I truly wish more people had heard about Nancy Drew and how awesome she is. Perhaps someday the young fans introduced to Codes & Clues will graduate to harder games as the Nancy Drew mystery adventure games!

Today’s Throwback moment is from Nancy Drew: The Phantom of Venice. Remember playing Scopa? If you haven’t played this game yet, you can get it for 50% digital download today using promo code VEN50 at checkout. Enjoy!

I got my french teacher into Nancy Drew! I told her about Danger by Design, then she played Treasure in the Royal Tower, then she played The Phantom of Venice!

I loved the character art for MID! It was so beautiful. Who is/are the artist/s who created them? I want to check out more of their work!
And I am beyond excited for the game to come out!

LJ, this comment is not directed specifically at you but at the company & CEO. Is someone following the chatter on the community forums? If not, you should; Fans are feeling upset, disconnected, frustrated and (I know this sounds dramatic) betrayed. 2 C&C products and no word on MID? Is the company planning to address the fans? Genuinely curious as I know many, many fans are getting past their breaking point.

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hello Curious! We are aware of our fans’ comments, feedback, and concerns. When we have news to share about MID, we will certainly let everyone know.

  5. Nancy says:

When will we be seeing MID cover art?

  6. harlan says:

    Hi LJ,

Is it true that you are not making anymore of the adventure series games after MID?

    thanks

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hi Harlan! There are a lot of rumors going around and speculation as well. We currently don’t have the game AFTER MID planned or designed yet, but we currently don’t have any plans to cancel the Nancy Drew PC games. We simply don’t have any new news to share at this time.

      • Jackson says:

“we currently don’t have plans to cancel the PC games” is not the same as: Of course, we are making the games! Don’t be silly! We can’t wait to get to the next one!
Can you say it that way? Is that ok if I think that way? Thank you LJ!

  7. Sapphire says:

Hey LJ! When you keep saying that you don’t have any new info to share on MID at the moment, do you mean that you and the marketing team have not been given any new info? Or do you mean that you do have new info, but the time isn’t right to share yet with fans.

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hi Sapphire, the truth is, we really don’t have any news to share. Not yet, at least. When we do, we will certainly share it!

      • Carolyn says:

So, are you not allowed to share any more information about MID (detailed plot, phone friends, VA, etc.)? Or are you just as uninformed as we are?
