A Night in a Haunted Place

If you could spend the night in any scary Nancy Drew game environment, where would you stay? Would it be in Sally’s cabin in the woods in Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake? Would you stay in Ryokan in Shadow at the Water’s Edge? Or how about the Golden Gardenia in Message in a Haunted Mansion? How about Blackmoor Manor?

I, personally, would love to LIVE in Sally’s cabin in Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake! It’s cozy, quiet, and any creature noise made at night could be creepy! Plus, who wouldn’t want a hidden speakeasy? I’d have to adopt a dog, too… and then be ready to replace (REALLY replace) some floorboards. Since it is the right season, I’m changing this page header image to that cover art. 😉

We have several birthdays to celebrate!

Where would I stay? Ummm…Sally’s cabin isn’t aweful, I mean dogs are… dogs. That game didn’t scare me that much. The Golden Gardenia would be fun with that Chinese room, and it’s not THAT scary, but still a little spooky. At Blackmoor it would be really scary, I would hope that the night I did spend there nothing would happen… However it is a SUPER cool place, even though it’s creepy. And the Ryokan?(wait, does Yumi’s apartment count?) No way LOL! ONLY if it was AFTER the hauntings where over. I would love to spend some time in the non-haunted Ryokan and Blackmoor Manor- two of my favorite settings. -NANCYGEEK

    Difficult choice…
If it were just a visit, I’d pick The Golden Gardenia. That mansion was so pretty; especially Nancy’s Chinese bedroom, and the subtle spooky things would terrify me.
However, if I were to choose a spooky place to live, I would agree with you – Sally’s Cabin. That place was amazing, even though we never see the bedroom Nancy stays in. I love the scenery and there is a cemetery right in the backyard! I don’t think the animal noises would bother me much – where I live, I hear (and sometimes see) the wild animals, so I guess I’m used to that, but the ghost dogs would give me a scare! LOL, I agree about the floorboards. Replacing them is a must!

Thanks for the birthday shout out, LJ! 😀 Aww, a ghost dog! How scary but cute! ♥

The speakeasy is what really makes DOG so cool 🙂 I’d also like to stay in Castle Finster in CAP. A beautiful castle would be so neat to see! Lol.

I could probably stay at the cabin since Nancy solved the mystery and ut is just a peaceful cabin now!

Personally, I would stay in the Ryokan, then Sally’s Cabin, my last choice is Blackmoor since that game really confused me. But the Ryokan was just really cool. It makes me want to visit Japan.

  8. Taylor says:

I would LOVE to visit Japan because of the culture, nature, and Tokyo; so I would visit the Ryokan! The rock garden is awesome, but why weren’t there and koi?

Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon- except I’d take Bess & George!

I choose Sally’s since it’s not really haunted

Camille’s tomb! It’s really unnerving since you’re actually inside the tomb next to her, but i find it so peaceful at the same time, the stained glass, the music that plays in that scene… Yes , definitely Camille’s gave! 🙂
