Ahoy ye matteys!

Today is International Talk Like a Pirate Day! If you are missing the game Ransom of the Seven Ships from your collection, you are in luck. Today we are having a sale for this title: Get 50% off the digital download, today only! Check out the image we posted on Facebook for the promo code to use.

I found a fun picture of Coucou to use for that Facebook picture, and added the appropriate caption:

I remember seeing Coucou for the first time, and thought “Coucou is so much more fun to watch than Loulou, who just sat there in her cage in Curse of Blackmoor Manor”. Did you know that Coucou and Loulou were brought to life by Lani, who does the voice of Nancy Drew? Now that’s talent!

Head’s up! We are having a caption contest on Facebook tomorrow! Come back then to post your most creative caption for a chance to win a prize. 😉

  1. I heard about today’s Holliday in karate class last night:)
Isn’t that crazy? Lani can sound like Loulou and Coucou and Nancy! Plus a few more characters!
Ah! Will the prize be Kokos? Surely after canceling your Kickstarter you have Kokos laying around!

  2. Lani’s talents are *so* amazing! When I saw Phoenix’s interview with her not too long ago, I was like, “Hey, that’s Nancy talking!” But I also realized that for Nancy’s voice, she’s also putting on an affectation. Again, she is AMAZING!

For some reason, I always preferred Lulu. I guess it’s because if she wanted food, all you needed to do was go across the hall to Jane’s room and make her a cake. 🙂 Also, I loved all her funny catchphrases like “Felicity! The door! The door!” and “The time has come…” Any idea what she’s supposed to be singing there?

Just thought I’d let you know in case you hadn’t noticed, but I don’t know if it’s just my computer because the digital strategy guide isn’t showing up when I click on it. You can tell your programmer or something that its not working on at leat my computer because i really want to see it! Remember everyone When in doubt WWNDD.
Ps. Nancy in Hogwarts would be AMAZING! I just finished the series this summer and loved it! I also think Nancy in Scotland would be cool! you could base it on the yellow back #41 The clue of the whistling bagpipes!
