Ready, set, bake! The 2023 Cookie Contest has started!
Hey there cookie aficionados and snack shop bosses!
It’s that time of year again for our holiday tradition! Pre-heat your oven and get out your piping bags because it is time for the annual Nancy Drew Games Cookie Contest! This year our cookie contest has two categories: classic cookie decorating and 3-D building. We used to just have a gingerbread house category, but you creative cookie masters have really stepped up your game! After a few years of people building multiple cookie dioramas with moving parts (yes, you read that right – moving parts) we’ve expanded the second category to include anything you build that is 3-D. We’ve had some really cool ones in the past like Trapper Dan’s pyramid puzzle, a complete set up of Castle Finster in Germany, and even the entire conservatory from Blackmoor Manor – complete with fly trap!

One of my favorite parts about the classic cookies category is that I never know what I’m going to see when I look at the entries. I could go from looking at the most beautiful medallions from Treasure in the Royal Tower and then the next entry could be Big Island Mike! No matter how decorated they are, we just know they’re delicious and hope you enjoyed eating them as much as making them.

Everyone is so creative, so we cannot wait to see what beautiful works of art or silly memes your cookies turn out to be. We also eagerly look forward to the cookie contest next year with the release of Nancy Drew: Mystery of the Seven Keys™️! This all-new title will inspire so many ideas that you may find it hard to submit just one entry. From amazing Bohemian castles and courtyards to the magical astronomical clock tower, the city of a hundred spires provides endless possibilities!
