I love Scopa! Thanks! I would also LOVE a Raid board game someday!
My mom bought me a Scopa deck a few years ago, and I love the game! I taught my niece how to play because I have also shared the wonderful world of Nancy Drew with her too. My mom is not a Scopa fan, however, because I always manage to win!
That’s awesome, Devanie! It’s fun being able to share these Nancy Drew-isms with friends and family in real life. 🙂
Hey LJ! Just wondered if it would be at all possible to get the cover art for the original Secrets Can Kill as a poster in the merch store? I would love to have that on my wall! Cheers!
Hello Huw! I will add that to the wish list. Maybe we will add it!
hi! do you know when her interactive is gonna upload the controller patch for midnight in salem for those who didn’t buy the game off steam? I’ve been itching to try playing it with a controller
Hello Andrew! I do not know when we will have a patch available for the HeR Interactive game build for Midnight in Salem. 🙁 Sorry!
Hi LJ will you have a twitch party this month? I have been replaying all the games while at home and would have to say I love them all so much Thank you HER Interactive for giving us such awesome games that never get old no matter how many time you play them.
Hello Blackrose1984, and thank you for your support! There will be no Twitch party this month, but we will have another Learn & Play LIVE event on YouTube in a couple of weeks!
Will there possibly be a koko kringle crewneck sweatshirt in the future, instead of just a hoodie?
Hi Madi! I will add it to the wish list to see about getting it up there!
Awesome! That would be really cool.
I love playing Scopa in Phantom Of Venice! It was actually my 2nd Nancy Drew game and I was 15 at the time (the same age I got Warnings At Waverly Academy for the my birthday) and during that time at first because in the beginning pretty much all I wanted to do in the games was talk to the characters and such and the puzzles I used to have help with from my Mom or my brothers but now that I’m older I’m very good at them and actually enjoy the puzzles a lot more now! But when I first started playing Phantom Of Venice I had a lot of trouble with Scopa so I would have my brother Tim help me with that part, he would get so mad when Enrico Tazza starts taking all the cards and he would yell but like I said now that I’m older I am quite better at it and I enjoy all my time with a little Scopa challenge no matter how long it takes me to beat Enrico, haha!!!
Yeah, some of the puzzles are HARD! The older I got, the better and more practiced I became at some of the tough puzzles, too!
By the way I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Learn & Play Youtube stream of Secret Of The Scarlet Hand and I loved doing the worksheet, I got it all filled out! I didn’t go on to the chat feed because y’know YouTube is not exactly a safe to chat in as Twitch is and my Mom & my brother didn’t want me to be involved in a chat feed under my real name but I did enjoy watching it anyway, looking forward to watching you play the Deadly Device!
Glad you enjoyed the Learn & Play Stream, Jillian! I believe there is a way to change your YouTube account name to be a username – if you set up a channel and create a second name that way.
I am so putting the real Scopa game on my christmas list this year so I can teach all my friends and the rest of my family how to play it, my sister in law is actually Italian, my Aunt Lori like (Lori Girard) is italian and my cousin Jennifer’s husband is Italian and actually owns a Pizza Place in Florida!
So cool, Jillian! Yum… pizza….!
Hi LJ. Is the YouTube Learn & Play taking the place of a Twitch party for April? Any idea when you’ll host the next Twitch party?
Hi Deb! It is possible we will have a Twitch party in May, but we shall see!
Hi LJ,
I can’t play the retro mini games anymore because they require the Flashplayer but my computer won’t let me use it because apparently it isn’t safe to use anymore. Is there any way you could make those games playable again? Thanks.
Hello Emerald! I’m sorry, but besides the actual PC/Mac games, we don’t have any other way for these to play without Flashplayer on our web site. 🙁
I’m wondering about Avatars on the Message Boards- I know others have asked already, and I’m not it a hurry, but it would be nice to switch {the default ones look like Markus Boem from CAP ;)}. Super Moderators can change theirs, but not regular Mods or anyone lower. Will we be able to do custom Avatars, like the Super Mods can? As long as they aren’t pictures of ourselves?
Hi Ettienne! I’m still looking into this, as the scenario has changed with the message board upgrade. 🙁
Scopa is one of my favorite mini-games from the Nancy Drew series! I loved it so much that I ordered Scopa cards from Italy and created a replica of the game board in Phantom of Venice: https://stsusan20.wordpress.com/2020/02/09/enjoy-the-good/
It is not only a past memory playing a video game, but it has become something tangible in real life to create new memories with friends/family. That’s pretty cool!
That’s very cool, Sarah! Nice work! <3
Is Tess going to be in the next live Youtube streams?(not in chat but on camera)
Hi Nicole! If we have a way of making this happen, we might look into that possibility. 🙂
Okay, thanks!
Hi LJ.Will epic Tess be making any appearences in the upcoming twitch streams?
Hello Gerge Fan! Tess will likely join me in the next Twitch stream – but it may be a while before we have Twitch parties again. In the meantime we are hosting a Learn & Play series on YouTube. Keep an eye out for next stream schedule!
Should we expect any news on the
new game soon?
Hello Gk! We do not have any news on the next game, yet. But stay tuned!
