Hey all! Today is the second day of MID being out and I’m enjoying watching your YouTube videos and Twitch streams. We’ve noticed a few things that I may need to call out to your attention.
One major tip for those of you who are on a Macbook playing Midnight in Salem, you can right-mouse click when you use two fingers and press on the track pad. You may be able to edit your own computer settings to another setup if you prefer. However, MID is easiest played with an actual mouse that has both left and right-mouse buttons. 😉 Today we added the note in the system requirements for the game that you need a mouse, keyboard and speakers. Although you can get by the game without the keyboard since it’s only used in naming your save games.
If you pre-ordered a digital game, you should have the ability to look in your email or account for information to start downloading your game. If you do not see this or if it isn’t available, please let us know your name and order number in an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Physical Games Shipping:
If you ordered a physical game, the games will be shipped from our warehouse in the midwest this week in the order they were placed. Wait for an email (or revisit your order confirmation email) for tracking info and more details. The arrival time of your game depends on where you are located and what shipping method you chose.
DVD Insert Printout:
For those of you who chose to buy the digital game, you can still add it to your bookshelf. In the download section of the MID page I uploaded the PDF print out that you can save, print out, cut out, and insert into your own blank DVD case. I highly recommend printing on glossy photo paper, it makes a world of difference! In my photos here below, I used regular computer paper, and it looks…not as radiant as could be. You can download the file here.
Want to see our team give more tips? Jai made and shared these videos that we have released so far called Midnight Minutes. Enjoy!
