Christmas and Holiday Season 2018

‘Tis the season for all the great holidays bundled up together! We just finished Thanksgiving (so much good food!) and now we are into the Christmas and Hanukkah and New Year’s eve party season. Today we began our sale on a few Nancy Drew gifts. (Honestly – I really want all the puzzles for Christmas, myself.) Shop here!

Nancy Drew Mystery adventure Games Christmas Sale

Who’s ready to bake and decorate crazy fun Nancy Drew cookies? (You can just ship them all to me – I’ll taste test them for you. JK) Learn more about our contest here! I’m very excited about the prizes because I’m a nerd. The Japanese puzzle box is worth $98 and takes 27 steps to solve and open – which is WAY more elaborate than the one you must open in Shadow at the Water’s Edge. And that wooden book box – you must slide a few panels aside to find the keyhole and unlock the box. SO COOL. I’m totally adding these to my Christmas and birthday wish list, personally.

We’ve got a great new podcast featuring one of our own in-office stars: Red Mongoose! Also known as Tiana. Listen on iTunes here or via the video here on YouTube:

Lastly, we are indeed having a Twitch party in December! We’ll be playing Lights! Camera! Curses! on Twitch here.

Wow! That Japanese puzzle box seems awesome! And the other prizes of course, but 26 steps compaired to the 6 steps from SAW seems like a good challenge 😉

    Hey, LJ!
So, since you were able to get the original SCK on Windows 10, is it possible that you might be able to get Vampire Diaries to work on your computer for a future Twitch party?

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hello staybeautiful2! I’m not entirely sure how I was able to get SCK original to work on my computer – it was a lucky combination of the physical disc and the digital game build. Sadly, I cannot get the Vampire Diaries to work on my Windows 10 computer. 🙁

    Hi LJ,

I noticed on the main webpage that it lists the podcast twice in a row. Is that a mistake? Also, on the page for the new ND book it says it’s #15 as well as #18. It’s #18, isn’t? I think that may be confusing to some people.

  8. Hey Lj! I was just thinking maybe for after MID maybe in the next following Nancy Drew game or a future game maybe you can include a character with autism special needs just like me!

This is a fabulous addition to the Nancy Drew Diaries series. I don’t want to put spoilers in my review, so suffice it to say that there are some wonderful surprises, while at the same time the book is completely faithful to the smart, brave Nancy Drew we all know and love. I love how this series respects young readers by expecting them to keep up with complex plots.

    Hi LJ,
I noticed on the front page slideshow, there’s a picture of Codes and Clues, and on it was a banner that said, ‘download free’. Does that mean the entire game is free, or just the first chapter?

    Cheers,
    Kestrel

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hello Kestrel! The first chapter is free, to get the entire game would cost the price shown in the alert within the game.

  11. Hey LJ I just forgot! I can’t make it for Day one for Lights, Camera, Curses tomorrow, I have Special Olympics Bowling Practice but I will be there for Day two on Thursday, my Mom will be watching with me for a little bit but than she has lots Christmas decorating to get done, haha!

  12. Is your nephew excited for his new baby cousin? How’s he with you expecting your own little one?

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hello Jillian! Hope your bowling practice goes well! (Have fun!) My nephew is barely 3 and doesn’t quite understand yet that there will be a new baby coming. It may be shock, or he may be excited. 🙂

  13. Thanks! I try, I’m lucky because my Dad is my
coach and I use grandma’s ball it’s a little heavy but I don’t care it’s her’s and I was really close with her when she was alive and I can actually throw it with two hands so sometimes I have good practices sometimes they’re not the best but with a Nancy Drew attitude I never give up!

  14. But yeah they’re that little they don’t understand what’s going on. My niece was 2 when my nephew was born. My niece Avery is 4 and my nephew Liam is 2. What’s your nephew’s name? Has he ever seen the ND games?
