Fall 2018 Preparations
September 26th, 2018
The first day of fall was last Saturday, and the temperature is slowly dropping here at the office location. Our team members have already consumed a number of pumpkin spice lattes – homemade or store bought – and we are getting ready for Halloween already!
I’m working on documenting things, getting some Halloween-themed graphics ready for social media and our web site, and a few other Halloween events we typically celebrate each year. This includes making graphics to announce the Twitch party dates. (Hint: it’s right around Halloween.)
I want to hear from you! What are your favorite things about fall, and also, what is your favorite scary Nancy Drew game?
We have a birthday to celebrate!

There was no weekend puzzle for a long time.
Hello Any, I haven’t made a weekend puzzle for some time since past weekend puzzles revealed a tease or hint at what we are working on or what’s to come. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to talk about any work in progress at this time, the the answers would be generic greetings or quotes. I will consider making a more puzzles for the future.
Hello!
Just wondering, do you think the closer we get to MID you will be able to do the usual hints/teases/sneak peaks? It always made the wait more fun and it might also add anticipation for MID since it’s been so long.
Also, will it eventually be shared as to why all the secrecy relating to the new voice for Nancy, the reason for the game delay, and the company assisting with Unity? If not, it doesn’t matter as long as we get a good game. Just curious is all. It seems HER used to be a lot more open to its customers so it’s been a little different to see all the silence. Just maybe something you could mention to the higher ups that inquiring minds want to know 🙂
Hello Poppy, I would love to resume my normal teasing/giving hints/sneak peaks! It depends on my instructions since management has changed since the last game. Once we have definite things to share, you can be sure I will not hesitate to let you know! 😀
My favorite thing about fall? It used to be getting a Nancy Drew game… oh wait that hasn’t happened in like 4 years…. Hmmmmm
Hello Sarah, Game Launch season is always my favorite season too (spring and fall). And sadly, I haven’t been able to celebrate that in a while. Does this mean you have all the old Nancy Drew games?
I love the fall breeze and I also love to compete in The Special Olympics Fall Festival and I also love to dress up for Halloween, I’m going to be Anna from Frozen this year! And let’s see my favorite scary game, I think it’s a tie between Curse Of Blackmoor Manor and Ghost Of Thornton Hall!
My Favorite thing about fall is Halloween, I can’t trick or treat anymore cause im too old. My favorite scary Nancy Drew is Ghost of Thornton hall.
Hello budford! Even though I’m small enough to pass as a kid and go trick or treating… the benefit I have as an adult is that I can go buy all my own favorite candies and keep them all. 😀 Especially when they go on sale November 1st. LOL
My favorite candy is peanut M&Ms =)
Hey LJ!
My favorite scary Nancy Drew game is Ghost of Thornton Hall hands down. Its the best scary Nancy Drew game I’ve ever played.

I love making pumpkin spice soaps in the fall (now apple soaps as well!), and this year I’ve been loom knitting pumpkins. The cooler temperatures are nice, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee and some pumpkin bread.
Mmmm… that sounds amazing!
I have every Nancy Drew game ever made, I am so sad that that is all I have to play now, I sure do miss the new game release every fall and spring. Is there any chance of up coming games.
Hello Sally! It’s impressive to hear that you own all the Nancy Drew games! I miss having a game launch every spring and fall, too, but MID will be well looked forward to once we finish it. (Yes, we are working on it.)
THANK YOU LJ!!!! Hope the littlest LJ is doing wel. It has been crazy around here because of the Hurricane
