Return from Ogunquit
Hey all, if you haven’t been following, you may not have known that I went to the Nancy Drew convention this last weekend. The convention is put on by ndsleuths.com President Jennifer Fisher each year. If you want to attend the 2018 convention in April, be sure to register by March 1st. And the sooner, the better! Next year will be in the Florida Keys to celebrate the books #28 The Clue of the Black Keys and Nancy Drew Files #85 Sea of Suspicion.
This last weekend celebrated the 40th Anniversary of Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys TV series from the 1970s, the books The Mystery of the Tolling Bell and The Ghost of Craven Cove.
There were so many things that happened, so I will be posting on different topics all this week. Today, I start by sharing a few pics of my plane ride from Seattle to Boston (the closest big airport to Ogunquit, Maine). Traveling from the West coast to the East took five and a half hours (in air) so it pretty much took up my day. I arrived at the inn rather late, so there wasn’t much to tell about the first day, except that I spent some time reading The Mystery of the Tolling Bell.
Today we shared a fun trivia fact about Halloween:

Hope you had a good time! An ND convention sounds so cool, I would love to have been there! I love the Mystery of the Tolling Bell! My favorite book though has to be the 99 Steps 🙂 Seriously though I can’t wait to hear all about the time you had, everything sounds so awesome! Although those plane pictures make me a little uneasy…I’m not good with heights haha. Hope you all were fine though 🙂 Can’t wait for the next update!
I just wanted to remind you that you’re marvelous! 🙂
D’awww, you’re sweet. Thank you Elizabeth! You’re the best! 😀
Ditto LJ you really are!

Hi! This is Erin from the Nancy Drew convention! I just wanted to say that I loved meeting you and had a great time chatting with you and doing the interview! It was a great weekend! -Erin 🙂
Hello Erin! It was great meeting you too! I took a selfie with you on stage… may I have your permission to share on the blog? If you’d rather remain private, I totally understand!
I don’t mind if you put the picture on the blog at all! I would be honored to be on the Amateur Sleuth Blog! 🙂 – Erin

Hey, LJ,
I haven’t done too well at keeping up with the games on Twitch, can you give a quick list of the ones already done?
Thanks!
Hi DCollins! You can see the complete list on our YouTube playlist here!
