Anniversary T-shirts and a Fan Interviewer
April 27th, 2017
Today’s daily news includes celebrating Nancy Drew’s 87th anniversary (which is tomorrow, the 28th of April) but we now have new t-shirt designs to commemorate this. You can shop here on Amazon.
“Kennerdy” interviewed me for her blog, and the questions were fun to answer. (Side note: I do not have any additional behind-the-scenes fun facts I can share.) 🙁
Stay tuned! There is a new podcast tomorrow, in addition to an older games sale.

Can’t wait to get one of the shirts!!! Also can I get a birthday shout out on May 1st? Thanks 🙂
You bet!
*crosses fingers that the sale is for TRT* It’d be awesome to have some bit of info for the 87th anniversary tho.
I’m excited to hear the interview you did, Little Jackalope!
Also, I’m excited to see what older games y’all will have on sale! I am needing to add The Final Scene to my collection 🙂
And one other thing: do you know when the next Twitch party might be? And what game you might do? I always look forward to the Twitch parties!
Hi Rachel! The next Twitch party hasn’t been officially announced yet, but it will be on SPY in 2 weeks. 😉
Hey LJ, are you looking to hire a summer intern this year?
Hi Olivia, if we hire new people, it will be posted on our Jobs page. So keep an eye on that. We do have a returning friend joining us this summer, however.
Lani Minella?!
Oooh, really? Who is it?
I won’t say until we announce it officially. 🙂 Someone from last year.
Hi LJ, I enjoyed the fan interview but am puzzled about something you said. You said this: “Since I’m a crazy fan of the games, I often sneak over to the art department or production department to find out what they are working on. I LOVE getting to see sneak peeks before other fans.” How is that possible, sneaking over to the art or production department, when the game is being outsourced? To the best of my knowledge, HeR no longer has an internal production or art department. Thank you for any clarification that you are able to provide.
Hello Marian. When the art and dev team were in-house I did this. I don’t anymore.
So if this was something you did in the past, why would you say it like it was something that you were still doing, given that this was a recent interview? I find that disappointing, and an attempt to make it sound like nothing has changed at HeR when in fact almost nothing is the same as it once was. Fans have been begging for transparency and yet we seem to keep getting the opposite, i.e., little-to-no transparency and often comments that are downright misleading. Regrettably, this is the conclusion I draw – with reluctance and sadness.
Was this interview from when the art and dev team were in house?
Thanks!
No, it is recent. I should have clarified the past tense of visiting the art and dev teams, because I am not doing that in recent days.
