Last Day of November 2016

Yesterday we were having some behind the scenes technical difficulties with our site, so I couldn’t write a blog post. (Sorry Molly!) Anyways, we’ve been busy getting into the holiday season here. Thanksgiving is over, so now it’s time to focus on Christmas things! Yay! Here’s another tease of what I’ve been working on:
I might get to start showing it tomorrow, but only if I get it done in time. Be sure to come back anyways because we have a few things to share for the Christmas season.

Hi Grace! I’m not on the production team, but the marketing team. The projects I get to work on are sales, contests, videos, newsletters and all things social media. 🙂

Just a question I hope you can answer. Why is the main focus of Her Interactive no longer on the original Adventure games but rather on Codes & Clues? Are you in the process of completely re-establishing the focus/products of the company to no longer be an Adventure gaming company but rather a mobile app provider for young children’s games/apps/tv shows/videos, etc.(basically anything BUT ND)? I need to know if I should continue following the company hoping for a new product I, as an adult, can purchase or if I should move on due to the obvious changes. Thanks for any time you take to answer these questions 🙂
Hi Guest, since we are a small company, we can only work on one (maybe two) games at a time. We hope to keep making more games!

Everyone understands you are a small company, but you promised that after C&C came out you would work on MID, but you keep working on Codes and Clues. It is not fair.
It is like you only care about your new fans and not the old ones. People are moving on because they do not like these changes, and then no one will buy the game and there will be no more games 🙁
Hi Jackason, thanks for sharing your perspective. Since I’m in the marketing department, I can only talk about games that are almost released, or already released, that is what my focus and my work is on. 🙂 Since I care about our existing fans, I spend some time reminiscing the great adventure games with them, such as the graphics we share, video, and now Twitch parties. Sadly, I cannot speed up the news updates for the next game. Sorry!

I just want to say first off how much I appreciate you keeping us fans updated through your blog! I am also really looking forward to the Twitch party for ICE 😀 And I really do appreciate you doing all of these Twitch parties as well!
I have a question in regards to the merchandise store. I was wondering if you anticipate that Her Interactive’s merchandise store will return one day? I am asking because the items that y’all used to sell make great Christmas gifts! 🙂

Thanks Rachel! I always look forward to Twitch parties, too, because I get to play the games and chat with fellow fans about them. 😀 As for the merchandise store, I do not foresee the same store coming back, since they no longer exist. 🙁 In the meantime, we still have our Amazon T-shirts available! You can get the link at the top of the page.
Just a thought…once Thanksgiving was over, wasn’t it time to distribute MID and not focus on “Christmas things”?

Little Jackalope, since you ARE a small company and you can’t work on very much at a time, please ask your superiors to sell the Nancy Drew franchise to a larger, more capable company that can handle the demand for Nancy Drew games, while still respecting the quality your company has established?
