Getting Ready for Thanksgiving 2016

Today our office was wrapping little hand-out gifts about Codes & Clues, and we were listening to Christmas music and discussing our favorite movies, Thanksgiving dishes and desserts. It made me think of how Nancy’s family would have a Thanksgiving. I like the yellow Nancy Drew books best, so I imagine Nancy’s family all dressed up for Thanksgiving dinner. Carson would be in a suit and a tie, Hannah would be in an evergreen dress with a fall leaves-printed apron, and Nancy would be in a lovely dinner dress, perhaps in red with matching slippers.

They would eat a feast that Nancy helped Hannah prepare and there would be most interesting dishes! It would likely be a three or four course meal followed by a selection of pies, custards, fruits and coffee. Candlesticks would decorate the table and nearby a fire would be warming the room from the fireplace. Perhaps they would have a record player playing their favorite music on vinyl in the background.

What picture Thanksgiving scene does your your family paint?

Where’s the answer to the weekend puzzle?

I didn’t post the answer because it was supposed to be an easy fun puzzle to solve. Not necessary to have the answer up for this one. Unless you want to check your work?

I was watching a video from a while back that one of the interns made. It was intitled Weirdest Christmas Gifts That You Have Ever Recieved and you said that your dad had gotten you a giant plastic pineapple. Then you mentioned that it was a inside joke about a T.V. show. Was that show Psych?????

    And don’t forget Togo!
He’d probably be curled up by the fireplace, gnawing a big ‘ol bone ^u^

    Hello,
My daughter, Alauren, is a huge Nancy Drew fan and her 21st birthday is November 26th. Could she please get a birthday shoutout this week? Thank you!
