If you missed yesterday’s stream, you can watch it here from YouTube:

Also, we released another character art from Midnight in Salem! Meet Jenna Ravencraft: Constantly commanding the spotlight, Jenna Ravencraft runs a local paranormal tour company. It’s well-known locally that her tours are faked (or are they?) — full of rigged special effects designed to showcase spells and ghosts.

Meet Jenna

Sorry, no weekend puzzle this week. Stay tuned for next week!

Hey LJ! Two questions: One, is this the last character art reveal for now, or is this the last character art reveal for MID completely? Second, is there a chance I could do an interview with you for my YouTube channel in the future? Thanks a bunch, see you tonight at the stream!

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hi Huw! This is indeed the last character art reveal for MID. You may certainly interview me, with a few conditions. I’ll private message you over on Twitch with my contact info. 🙂

  2. Kit says:

Will there be another character art release next week?

  3. Nikki says:

Are we going to get anymore news on MID now that the character reveals appear to be over? Would love a release date around Halloween!

  7. Nancy says:

“I don’t want to see you, Serena.”

  8. Nancy says:

Why is everything in STFD CONFIDENTIAL?

  9. Nancy says:

    “Wrong lever!”

  10. Nancy says:

    “Stay beautiful.”

Hey LJ! I had been watching you and Tess played Stay Tuned for Danger on YouTube because I don’t have much data plan as I used to so I don’t really know how much my WiFi can hold with the stream live so I wanted to watch the recorded stream on YouTube this afternoon and I did! I did wanted to just chime in the tonight’s (Friday) chat but saw that you were at the end of the game and my phone was kind of slow to say hi and I didn’t watch the beginning so I’m going to watch when it’s on YouTube as well 🙂

I don’t know if you have planned out yet for the next stream but my suggestion is Ghost of Thornton Hall. It sets in three days and you can do the streams for three evenings! And it’s a scary game! =D

“Stay tuned for next week!” Is this about the weekend puzzle? Will you release more information on Midnight in Salem? I can’t wait for more!

  12. Prairie says:

Oooooo she is very cool! I can’t wait for the game to come out!

  13. The Red Wolf says:

It’s too bad Abbey from Message in a Haunted Mansion won’t be making a reappearance.

  14. Isaac Tamez says:

Hey LJ do you when MID might be getting a trailer or a pre-order release date?

  15. Shanna Lundy says:

Hey! There was no word on yesterday’s post about anyone after Jenna. Is she the last character in MID? Also, will more MID news be released soon? Thanks!

  16. Hayden says:

  17. Sapphire says:

Hey LJ, I was wondering if there will be any new info shared about MID next week since all the character concept art have been revealed. Please share more news with your fans HER, we are dying for more new info on the game and giving us some every week is making us very happy and excited for the upcoming game! I’m sure HER won’t disappoint us.

  18. Elijah says:

Hey! i’m Elijah, you may know me from your stream as Salaudo… my friend gifted me STFD. i tried installing it but the second setup wont work… i believe its because my computer is a 64-bit and the setup is a 32-bit file so i was wondering if there is a way to fix this? thank you, and i loved the stream!

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hi Elijah! Check out our FAQ post about how to install STfD. You may have to right-mouse-click on the setup.exe file and choose “Run in compatibility mode.” But if you have trouble with this, please contact us at techsupport@herinteractive.com so we can help you further. Thanks!

  19. Will says:

I think you said that the bomb solution was random? I believe there are actually two places to find it… There are some colored floppy disks in Lillian’s office that show the bomb code as well as multiple pages to the script on the ottoman in Mattie’s dressing room that have a color on each page 🙂

  20. Will says:

You guys should do SSH for your next Twitch stream 🙂

  21. Sydney says:

I hope you all know how much you are torturing us with the secrecy of MID lol. Really testing our patience. I, and so many others, cannot wait for this game. Just take my money already lol

  22. Togo says:

Thanks for showing us the key for mattie’s desk. Any chance the program error will be fixed so the key can appear in order for us to open the drawer for ourselves?

  23. Mia says:

What’s going on with the game? It’s been far too long since we’ve seen an update from HeR and many of us fans are feeling very discouraged and are extremely disappointed that we are being ignored. Over and over we have asked for updates, remaining loyal and waiting for more than a YEAR and a half, just for a simple update…We would all hate to see these games be cancelled for good, and we urge you to think about what your customers want–the new apps do not have the same success as the adventure games that are tradition, and that are near and dear to our hearts. Please–please let us know what’s going on. So many people have lost all hope, and we want to know the truth.

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hello Mia, we are not cancelling our Nancy Drew games. We are still working on Midnight in Salem, but do not have any updates or behind-the-scenes things to share with you at this time. Thank you for your patience.

      • Mia says:

Thank you for the reply. It’s nice to get a definitive answer from someone. I don’t particularly mind waiting (although it has been quite a while) I was more concerned with the idea that it would not be released and the games would stop being made altogether. With that said, if the Unity engine is causing this much trouble to transition, I’m sure most if not all of us Nancy Drew fanatics would be more than okay with the old system! We just love our Nancy and want her back 🙂 Thanks so much

        • Little Jackalope says:

Hi Mia, thanks for being such a great fan. Sometimes change is hard, but change needs to happen if we are to move forward. A new engine could mean so many things: that the game will work on new computers and new operating systems, that the graphics will be higher resolution (not pixelated), that we can add more everything to the game (characters, animation scenes, puzzles, environments etc), and possibly even new platforms, like console games and smart phones! Our old engine was a homemade engine that only people in our office knew how to use, which isn’t helpful with new animators, programmers etc who come in to help build the game.

          • Jess says:

All I have to say is, thank you for some kind of information. I have dug into forums and scoured the internet at least once per month just to see something about Midnight In Salem and this gives me hope. I wish and hope that soon we can hear something more about it soon, an estimate of the RD or the status update of the tech or anything really. Thank you.

          • Little Jackalope says:

Hello Jess. Whenever I have new information, I will be sure to post about it here on the blog. In case you miss a daily blog post, you can filter the posts based on topic – and select Midnight in Salem from the dropdown options to the right. 🙂
