The Long Lost Rap and Throwback Thursday!

Hey, guys! Tess here. So, guess what Little Jackalope, Indy and I did this week? We filmed a radical, 90’s-style music video to the Nancy Drew: Secrets Can Kill rap song! And it was, by far, my favorite video that we’ve made this summer! We were constantly laughing at ourselves after pretty much every shot, and we got a few weird looks from people walking by while we were filming. You can check out the video below!

AND it’s also Throwback Thursday! For those of you who have not had a chance to play Nancy Drew: The Final Scene, you can get the digital download today for 50% off when you use the promo code FIN-50 at checkout. Isn’t that just the bee’s knees (heh heh, see what I did there)? Have fun!

That looked like so much fun! You guys are hilarious.

The Final Scene is one of my favorite games for sure. I think it was the second or third I ever played? So many years ago. 🙂

SUPER excited for the artwork tomorrow. <3

  2. Kit says:

That video reminded me of my childhood! I have a question though, why does the Blackmoor Manor box have a “Play ____ __ TV” sticker on it? Did HeR air a commercial for the release?

    • Kim says:

If I remember correctly, Blackmoor Manor was also released on DVD…I could be wrong though 🙂

      • Kit says:

Oh yeah, I was using a hint system and it kept referring to the DVD version.

      • Vanillaglow says:

Kim you are not wrong. Blackmoor Manor was released as a DVD game and I know that for a fact because I own a copy. So just like White Wolf of Icicle Creek there are two versions, one for the PC and one for the Wii. All in all the games are basically the same except some slight variations to the puzzles and tasks because of the device it’s being run on. I really hope that helped. :p

Hi Tess! Love the artwork of Mei Parris today! I’m just curious if you can tell us if/when we might get an informational update and if you’re planning to release any other teases each week besides just one character (as cool as it is to finally see some art!) Thanks!

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hi, Will! I’m glad you liked the art. I’m currently unable to give you any additional information aside from what’s in the art post. But as I learn more info and am given permission to share it, I’ll be sure to let you know. 🙂 -Tess

  7. Jackson says:

    Hi Tess,

So happy to see the artwork! It is very nice!

Is the character you released today an albino or does she have handicapped hands?

I dont understand the description where it says people dont accept her for her appearance. She looks and dresses like a very “normal” person.

    I am confused

    Thank you! : )

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hi, Jackson! I’m glad you like the artwork! In answer to your question, yes, Mei suffers from albinism. 🙂 -Tess

  8. Prairie says:

Oh my gosh I that video gives me life

  9. Isaac says:

Hey Tess where is the artwork?

  10. Nancy says:

Hey, my friends and I where just writing a rap. 😀
It’s about Icicle Creek Lodge, but it kind of turned into insisting that Elsa the maid was actually Queen Elsa of Arendelle.
I mean come on! It’s obvious.
