Cleaning the Archive
July 19th, 2016
We’re busy in the office this week, so I missed yesterday’s post. 🙁 Today I happened across some of my old notebooks from years ago! Perhaps some of you who were around for the release of Tomb of the Lost Queen might remember my Egyptian-themed doodling…
Do any of you doodle or sketch in your Nancy Drew notebooks from playing the games?
Here’s the solution to the nonograms weekend puzzle:

Hi guys, I appreciate what you have to do for marketing, but I think the Nancy Drew meme contest was a little uncharacteristic for you guys… You gave out prizes to people who just copy and pasted other people’s work. It would have been fine if you didn’t give out prizes, but instead it’s like you’re rewarding someone for taking credit for work that isn’t their’s, even tho may have not been your intention at all. Think of Niobe’s backstory in Labyrinth of Lies.
The contest just seemed … wrong somehow. I think Nancy would stand up for justice and give credit where credit is due (see Nancy’s sympathy for Nick Falcone’s grandma’s artistry in The Final Scene). It may not seem like a big deal to you, and I’m sure you didn’t mean any harm by it, but it was a little uncool. Maybe you could find other ways of promoting and honoring fan artwork.
Just to clarify, I think Her is a good company, and I love the Nancy Drew games, but I just needed to speak up on this one. Thanks for your time!
What happening at the office that’s so busying. I’m not sure if this is confidential information or not, but maybe letting us know what all everyone is doing would ease our thirst for news on MID.
Agreed. 🙂
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!! Tell me you’re busy because you’re about to tell us when we can pre order Midnight in Salem. 😀
Hi Nancy, sorry, no news yet! Stay tuned!
