Fresh Veggies Day 2016

It is Fresh Veggies Day. Because why not celebrate eating fresh vegetables? They may not be the most tasty of foods, but they are certainly healthy! Lately I have been favoring parsnips, sweet potatoes, and avocados. What are your favorites?

So, I’m glad HerInteractive is still up and doing things, but I think I speak for everyone when I say: What is going on with #33 Midnight in Salem? We have had no a single word about this game sent out in months. Good for you guys for switching to Unity and making “Codes and Clues”, but your fan base is craving an update of some kind. We are dedicated to these games; most of us, like myself, are well into our twenties and have played them since kindergarten.
I apologize for posting here, but there is nowhere else to go it seems. Fans are holding out for you, HerInteractive. You fired Lani, the voice of Nancy. You switched to a whole new game format with Unity. You keep making games focused on puzzles, not mysteries. The fans and I are getting tired of our concerns getting ignored. Most of us are kind and understanding, but it gets to a point where we have to be heard.
Please release an update on the new game soon. We were used to two games a year, and now we haven’t gotten anything for over a year.
I am not a spokesperson, nor do I think I speak for every last fan, but I do know most fans are craving news that doesn’t include throwback pictures or one paragraph blogs.

I know you guys don’t have a release date for MID, but can you at least say whether or not it is still coming out sometime this year?
It’s been so long since I’ve heard anything, and I know you’re probably tired of answering these questions, but are you guys still planning on releasing MID, or is the company going in another direction?

Hi Theresa! There are still plans for MID, but we don’t have any guesstimates to when the release date is. There is still a lot of pre-planning to do in the design of it. Stay tuned!

Hi Alex, the first designs and story have already begun (as seen evidence by the teaser trailer), however, we don’t have any new news to share yet. 🙁

This is getting a little ridiculous. Fresh Veggies Day? What happened to the blog posts where you actually informed us of stuff that was going on and what you were working on? Those are the posts I miss. These Throwback Thursday posts and random National Holiday posts are getting a little annoying. And you don’t even post everyday anymore!! I have to say I am officially turned off. I’m not saying this to be rude, but like so many people have said, you’ve given us NOTHING on MID. And when it came time for you to release Codes & Clues, there was barely any hype there either. Who’s to say you are even working on MID anymore? We wouldn’t know bc you don’t keep us informed anymore about ANYTHING that you guys do. I love ND so much and she is a big part of my life, but all this waiting and not getting anything at all just isn’t worth it to me anymore. I’m sorry, I just had to voice my opinion somewhere even though I probably won’t get a response or if I do, it will be the same automated thing you say to everyone else lol. Jeez, even a poll asking us out opinion on this would be nice lol.

I’ve actually been out of the office these past 2-3 weeks recovering from a hospital visit. Usually when we get closer to a game launch is when we start talking about the current game in progress. Until then, we don’t have much news to share with the fans. We still listen and communicate with our fans in the meantime, like on social media and via email at feedback@herinteractive.com (where many fans like to write in their opinions, thoughts, and wishes) and we appreciate hearing from everyone.
Stay tuned for more news in the future! When we have news to share, it will be shared on our site, on this blog, and on our Facebook and Twitter pages at the same time. 🙂

I hope you’re feeling better and on the mend, if not completely well again already!
As for MID updates: Maybe you and/or Indy could make a video of an office tour, showing and talking to staff as they work on MID, even if what their working on is nowhere near what it will look like once finished I know I really liked the extras for Sea of Darkness, with the screenshots of scenes/moments as they were still being created. Or maybe HeR in general could release a voice recording from the game that isn’t in the trailer, or one of the new Nancy voice actress reading some lines from other games (similar to the Nancy bathroom talk from another blog post).
In the mean time, keep your head up and keep up the good work! 🙂

To an angry Nancy Drew fan: Seriously? Give these guys a break! These people are working like crazy to give games to us. Just be patient and keep the hate mail to yourself!
Guys, I know we’re all anxious for the new game, but I’m sure they’re working as hard as they can. Let’s just give them a break and enjoy Codes and Clues for now!
