Flying with a Jet Pack
Today’s Throwback Thursday features The Haunting of Castle Malloy. One of the most crazy moments in my memories from playing Nancy Drew games was this moment: just flying around the castle grounds in nothing other than your classic… vintage… Irish jet pack. Because why not? Jet packs are cool! Can you imagine having a conversation with a fellow Nancy Drew fan, and explaining what you did over the weekend while some stranger stands nearby, listening?
“…and then after talking to a mechanical fortune teller for advice, I fired up my jet pack and flew over the castle grounds looking for a creepy banshee. It was fantastic… until I ran out of fuel over the water. So what did you do last weekend?”

I finished HAU, it was a good game! I’m playing TOT for the first time also and I love it!
I’m actually doing a marathon of the games this summer, so I’m really excited for that!
The Haunting of Castle Malloy was my FIRST Nancy Drew game, and the Irish Music was AWESOME!!

Oh, I loved playing that game but starting the jetpack up was a pain. I have a question, do you guys decide the cover art for new games or do you hire a professional to design it then show it to you?
We work with a professional: togther we discuss what we want the cover to look like, then they illustrate it. 🙂
