An Old Bank

On our trip to the Nancy Drew convention in Iowa City, Iowa, we went to Ladora, the hometown of Mildred Wirt Benson. Here we had lunch at an old bank. It had been converted into a French Bistro, and I just wanted to share more about it!

The chair I sat on was decorated with suit jackets. Too cool!

Inside the bank on the wall was a shadowbox with a note about Millie, who wrote the first 23 Nancy Drew books and was from this town.

I thought I’d be adventurous like Nancy. This is the duck flatbread, topped with duck, dates, feta cheese, and a spicy Dijon mustard. It was excellent!

Cool! That shot of going down to the bath room reminded me of going down to get the lift remote in LIE for some reason, lol.

This is so cool! I know it doesn’t look anything like it, but it kinda reminded me of Cafe Kiki in DAN XD
