Not to make you jealous or anything… but I get to play our latest game (that we are working on currently). Actually I get to play it a few times. This time I am playing it to start early work on the strategy guide.
I break the project down into sections: walk through text, puzzle descriptions and guidance, character profiles, map creations, image-gathering, and lastly is the table of contents.
This week I am working on the walk through text, which is all the written parts of the guide. I have a handy checklist of everything that happens in the game, and as I play the game by these steps, I write about what is going on in greater detail. Well, not that much detail, we like to keep it simple and straight to the point so that it is easy enough to understand.
As for the weekend puzzle, it was the maritime flag code, which apparently you all are pros at solving! So this means we will need to make the weekend puzzles a bit harder, eh? Also, I need to get my handy puzzle-checker to review my puzzles next time. Evidently I don’t know how to spell in flag language… Because the flags spell [One week remainging], which can refer to the Koko Kringles being available for only a few more days… or it could mean we are going to tease more from Sea of Darkness… I forget. 😉
We have a fan birthday to celebrate!
