Helping Characters? Meh.

Have you ever noticed that Nancy often offers her help to the characters she is visiting? She is a very helpful person! Originally in the books it is because Nancy is a kind person. In the games however, she has a second reason for helping the characters:

That’s right. Nancy takes every opportunity to snoop through the character’s stuff. And then she takes important things. As if they are hers now. In the picture above, Nancy is taking Xenia’s Director’s script in Labyrinth of Lies. That’s kind of an important thing! but hey, I suppose Nancy needs it more, right? Lol.

As for the weekend puzzle, they were maritime flags. Decoded it says “Up above the wind will freeze you.”

Is “up above the wind will freeze you” a reference to SEA?

When you do birthday shout outs do they transfer to the next year or do we request a new birthday shout out every year? Thanks

    • Little Jackalope says:

I would need to re-add a birthday to my calendar each year. ๐Ÿ™

Do have any idea who started spreading the rumor of Lani being fired from HER I know it is not true but just curious if you find any sources of who started this rumor because mi want fi find out who gone do it. Them really need fi lay of the woman’s case. Next time uno hear one likkle rumor, investigate unless fans continue to ask these questions and you have to explain it over and over again.

Hi Karesha, I recommend being careful about speculation and rumors until we officially say something. ๐Ÿ™‚ That way you can be sure of the truth.

    Hi LJ,
I heard the terribly sad news about Lani.
Is this already finalized that SEA will be her last game?
I and I know many MANY other ND fans who would be very
disappointed if this did happen. Please Her Interactive, listen to your fans and don’t change Nancy. I hope that everyone at HeR will rethink this and change their minds, I and other ND fans just can’t lose Lani!

I agree! Lani should always do Nancy’s voice.. the games won’t be the same without her ๐Ÿ™

      • Taylor says:

Without Lani being Nancy, the entire franchise would collapse. I literally just found out and I am FURIOUS. If Nancy’s voice changes, the games just won’t be the same. Please keep Lani! I don’t know if I’ll still be a fan if you do get rid of her. This deeply upsets me.

I always find it funny when Nancy can just snoop around an area, and she’s all like, what’s this, or hmm this might be important. It cracks me up every time. And of course, there’s her magical bag. You’d think that after all these games with all these books and papers in her bag, it’d be worn down and falling apart, but nooo. Just one of those mysteries we’ll never solve. Lol. โ€ข – โ€ข

LOL yup, Nancy’s ALWAYS helping…! Little do the characters know of the ulterior motive MWAHAHAHAHA!!! lol ๐Ÿ˜›

  6. Anne says:

Hmm, a reference to the crow’s nest of a ship perhaps?

Love the meme… I’ve always wondered why nobody ever suspects Nancy of taking their stuff. ๐Ÿ™‚ Gotta love Nancy….

  7. Hadley says:

Don’t the characters ever notice that their stuff is missing?!?! I always feel bad taking their things

  8. Rhiannon says:

I read through Nancy’s diary in LIE and I saw the quote, “I found some charcoal so I just took it. It’s mine now. Mine!”

I thought this summed up Nancy quite nicely ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. Taylor says:

    Sometimes I wonder why Nancy isn’t a master thief…
