I think there is a mistake in the weekend puzzle! The first letter in the third word is wrong!!!

  2. Bekah says:

I am reading it as “New Message Doard Avatars” lol I am assuming it is supposed to be “New Message Board Avatars”

  6. ND's #1 fan says:

Haha cool! CAP is my 2nd favorite too ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m still trying to get the motivation to play CUR and SAW….I scare easily lol ๐Ÿ˜› I also really liked MED! I wish that people would stop giving it such a bad rap! ๐Ÿ™ I wouldn’t recommend it to a brand-new player, because of past game references and the whole Sonny Joon thing….but I personally loved it! However, now I’m curious…what was your old #5 favorite, Dahlia? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Have a great weekend, HeR!

I LOVED MED- it was so awesome!(i don’t think it deserves the bad reviews that have been going around lately) i have so many favorite games…. but lately most of them have been new ones LOL! question LJ: (sorry yes i have another one) can i put sound tracks on my cheep old ipod? (it’s the kind that has no screen and arrow keys) because if i can then i’m gonna go buy A TON of sound tracks LOL!

      • Little Jackalope says:

If you download the soundtracks, you can then add them to your iTunes account. (I do!) It should work just fine. ๐Ÿ™‚

*Exciting announcement for me* About thirty minutes ago, I finished the Shattered Medallion!
And since I’m not on the message boards, I thought I’d give it a quick review here:

Graphics: 10/10 – As always, you guys do an outstanding job on the graphics and movements. (one of the last scenes in the game on the cave river was AMAZINGLY done!)

Puzzles: 8/10 – Most of the puzzles and activities in MED were quite solvable and logical, which is what I like. Only three or so were VERY hard, and therefore I had to get a hint.

Characters: 7/10 – All the characters had interesting reasons for being on Pacific Run, and several had good humor, which I always like to see in a game. Several seemed very secret-possessing too, which is critical for a mystery adventure.

Setting: 9/10 – New Zealand suited this game VERY well. I was also pleased to see mountains always present in backgrounds, and the outdoor feeling of the game was true to life. Several places had lots of area to explore. Plenty of ‘hotspots’ too, which I really like.

Plot: ??? – Eh, don’t know where I stand on that. I wasn’t a fan of the alien element to the game, but I realize that was almost necessary for Sonny Joon. The element I LOVED about the plot was the fact that *somebody* (TRYING not to get spoiler here!) arranged for certain contestants to be there for a reason other than Pacific Run.

    Game Play: 10/10 – Superb!

Music: 9/10 – Excellent soundtrack! Good music enhances a game in my opinion, and it also sets the mood.

Voice Acting: 10/10 – Superb as usual!

Overall: 7.5/10 – This score may go up or down after I play MED a second time. That’s usually when I settle on a score for a game. I just wanted to write this to give my opinion, and because of the bad reviews I’ve seen on MED. Although it’s not my #1 favorite ND game, it’s far better than what some reviews make it out to be, in my humble opinion. So all in all, great job HeR!
Thanks for reading my LONG comment! ๐Ÿ˜€

Hi SpyGirl, great review! Would you share this in the game reviews section on the MED page? That way others will be able to view it! ๐Ÿ˜€

Hello Dahlia or Litle Jackalope or to Whom it may Concern.. Scratch that! Too formal. Hello HER! I recently beat the Shattered Medallion and I liked it. I watched Dahlia’s videos and she had asked our opinions on what was our favorite games. Here goes.

    1. CURSE OF BLACKMOOR MANOR-
I really like this game because of the mystery and all the characters fit well with the game. The music and the sound was amazing. I’ve played this game so many times that Jane’s humming, i catch myself humming at weird times. The plot was nicely done. It was played with family and it took us about a week to play it so it was fun.

    2. SECRET OF THE SCARLET HAND-
I enjoyed this game because of the Historical value it had. Mayans have been a mystery to scientists and mankind in general. It was amazing. And the beginning of SONNY JOON WAZ HERE!

    3. LAST TRAIN TO BLUE MOON CANYON-
I enjoyed this game from The Hardy Boys to Fatima (none of that “PH” stuff) to Lori Gerard getting put in her place. To Camille’s ghost to Abe Lincoln’s letter. It was great. The gemstones were an awesome puzzle to figure out. Th results were awesome. Definitely a fun game.

    4. GHOST DOGS OF MOON LAKE-
I like nature. Little Jackalope sa she did too. Anyway, I liked the setting and how the music and the old clippings and the howl of the dogs and the park ranger and the drawl of the language spoken. It was amazing. Finding bugs to the speakeasy it was fun all the way through.

    5. ALIBI IN ASHES-
I really enjoyed this game. I really liked going to Nancy’s hometown in River Heights and see the way Nancy was molded from. Seeing Bess and George was genius. Ned needed to be a character you seen like Bess and George. That’s just me. From the fire, the jail, the tunnels, the antique store. The characters. Brenda Carlton. It was amazing. And Nancy’s house. I think every fan wants to live in that house. It’s spacious and colorful an homey. Memories everywhere. It was a great game.

    My awards:

Most scariest- CURSE OF BLACKMOOR MANOR

Most easiest- MESSAGE IN THE HAUNTED MANSION

    Most hardest- PHANTOM OF VENICE

Most Adventurous- RANSOM OF THE SEVEN SHIPS

Most Historical- SECRET OF THE SCARLET HAND

Most hints I’ve used in a game- THE SHATTERED MEDALLION

Least hints used in a game- THE DEADLY DEVICE

Overall game for me- CURSE OF BLACKMOOR MANOR

I know many have different opinions about the games but this is just me. No hard feelings. JK. See y’all.

You are so right!!! Curse of Blackmoor Manor was the greatest one of all time! I remember playing it when I was about 9, and it took me forever. But I had the best time playing that particular Nancy Drew.
