Well today I was planning on talking more about Ghost of Thornton Hall…but when I first came in this morning, that plan changed. (Anyways, sorry for such a late night post, I was wrapped up in a meeting that lasted a few hours, and we just got back. Unfortunately I can’t say what we were up to today until September. ~.^)

This is what happened to me today:

“…I’m Nancy Drew, I hope you’ve heard of me…”

WHOA. Ok, so somebody mentioned in the last company meeting that my egg culprit from last summer was never caught. Bam! Someone then took that cue (and opportunity) to steal the culprit spotlight….and last night placed a dozen eggs around my desk and around the office for me to find. I took pictures of the first ten, but the one in my lunchbox in the fridge and the one on the games bookshelf I failed to get a picture of.

From left to right, top to bottom are the locations I found these cute little critters filled with bubble gum and candy:

~The first picture is a clipping of the wrapper/box that must have contained the eggs, hinting at the amount I needed to find….

  1. In the candy bowl in production
  2. The artist’s camera tripod in the hall
  3. On books in the library
  4. In the testing lab
  5. In my own desk drawer — the classic location
  6. In my elf hat in my mailbox
  7. In my file shelves
  8. On my ND games shelf
  9. On my desk by the pencil cup
  10. In my pirate hat above my computer

I was unable to gather fingerprints, and sadly did not have my motion camera turned on…which everyone now knows about… (>.<) I don’t have any leads, and all the suspects I questioned aren’t giving anything away. Hmmm…what shall I do? This mystery needs to be solved! ARGH! I’m onto you egg bandit!

One last note for today:

  1. ooo, you’ve already gotten me looking forward to September! ;D

The egg culprit strikes again! I do believe you should name this case… ๐Ÿ™‚
Do you think it could be the same people/person that started it last summer?
Did you get notes to find these other eggs or did you find them as you went about your day?
The egg culprit will not get away this time!! ๐Ÿ˜€
PS. You work for an awesome company… <3

  2. I’m sure you’ll catch that egg bandit, LJ! That’s such a fun little prank; you guys at HeR really do have a great friendship together. By the way, I was watching old videos of everyone playing hackysack; I am now inspired to learn to play. (~.^) So do you still have two eggs to find tomorrow? At least you have something to look forward to–speaking of, I think I’m going to explode from excitement to see the characters for GTH tomorrow! I am also getting a new computer for my bedroom, which I’m also very excited for! Then I can spend hours memorizing the characters ON my computer! (^_^)

I had a dream about you last night, i was at HeR and met you. You were goth. And I teased you about your shortness. You tried so hard to make yourself seem tall, it was so funny! I love ya Little J!

“You know you’re having a Nancy Drew moment when you’re extra “eggcited” about Easter because you know there will be tons of Easter eggs to find!”

  6. WWNDD12 says:

Ya know what LJ, my prime suspect is YOU! Mwhahaha! It is very possible that you placed them when no one was around just for the mystery of it all!

Okay Maybe it isn’t you but it is very possible! Has this happened to anyone else?

You should be all like Nancy and hide night vision cameras around your desk to catch the culprit! I play too much ND…

So someone only sent you on an Easter egg hunt? Are you sure its your egg bandit? You need to figure out where some one(like the bandit) got ahold of bubble gun and smarties. Also, see who like these interesting eggs compard to how they like traditional plain eggs. ๐Ÿ™‚

    From me,

  8. “I’m Nancy Drew, I hope you heard of me… ” By any chance is Nancy going to this place because she signed up for the job. Interesting stuff LJ, we’re catching up to it. Muahahahahaha(;

  9. @Future HeR Animator – I do believe it’s an awesome company! (With even crazier, creative people who are very sneaky…)

@Norwegian Dancer — New computer?! AWESOME! I hope you enjoy it! ๐Ÿ˜€

@Anonymous — That’s so funny! XD I rather like being short, too, haha.

@Hannah — That’s super cool! I love the key one especially!

@WWNDD12 – I promise it isn’t me! XD Somebody else here in the office is really trying to tease me, and it’s working, ’cause I have no idea who it is! Gar! I do like your idea of the night vision cameras…I wonder how to get a hold of one or two…

@Shainnen Somerville — Whatever do you mean? (~.^) That is part of some l– poem. It’s part of a poem, yep.
