HeR Interactive Livestream – Fall Fun with Friends!
Kick off the Fall Sale with the HeR Interactive team, community fun, giveaways, and more
A good detective knows how to follow the clues. A great detective like Nancy Drew also knows who to call and what trusted friends to keep nearby. As the leaves change and fall settles in, we’re taking a look back at some of Nancy’s closest allies and how they’ve evolved from the early games to our newest titles. Throughout the Nancy Drew game series, Nancy has traveled the world investigating mysteries, questioning suspects, decoding clues, and solving puzzles. But she doesn’t always do it alone.
As developers of the longest-running mystery detective series, early on a great deal of character development for the games included drawing from the Nancy Drew universe and bringing Nancy’s circle of friends and family into the adventures in the game world. Some join in on the investigation and appear as characters on screen in the games. Others are just a phone call away! The Nancy phone, as we call it, has been a long-time pillar of a Nancy Drew game, connecting Nancy to friends, family, and even a little encouragement when she needs it.
The friends on the case that started with Bess, George, and Ned grew to include her dad Carson, as well as her investigator buddies Frank and Joe Hardy. What friends-on-the-case list would be complete in Nancy’s circle if her “frenemy,” Deirdre Shannon, were not on the list? While more of a nemesis than a friend, sometimes she can be an ally, like in Nancy Drew: Midnight in Salem, where Nancy can actually influence Deirdre for good, even if it won’t last for long!
Join us Thursday, October 1 at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET for a HeR Interactive livestream as we kick off the Fall Sale and look back at Nancy’s closest allies, share from the HeR Interactive archives, and have some fun with friends.
