The Koko Kringle Artist and New MID Screenshots!

In case you missed last week’s podcast, you should totally check it out! It features Ayu Othman, the original designer of the Koko Kringle, and 2D artist for so many games! She is most notable as Art Director for the Dossier series, too.

Have you seen the latest screenshots? This is a rendering of Judge Danforth and the interior shot of the Courthouse. Thoughts? I’ve heard some fans’ disappointment in the screen resolution on these being 720p – and they assumed this was the final game resolution. XD I actually had some of these screenshots larger and some at that 720 size, but I shrank the big ones down to all match the same size. I cannot say what size the game resolution will be, but I can tell you it’s bigger than our old games. 😉

Pretty cool. Glad it is coming out. I do have a question. I know in the past y’all have given Koko Kringle bars to the ones that preordered. I was wondering if y’all was gonna give Koko Kringle bars to preorders? I have never had a Koko Kringle bars but would love to try one.

    Hey LJ!

I really like these screenshots of MID. I cannot wait to order and then play this game! Are we going to have the game trailer release for this game sometime this month?

    Thank you in advance,

    Will MID be on ps4?

I’ve never minded the changes Her Interactive made over the years, but with Nancy’s change in voice actress and the change in engine making Nancy Drew games look like every other video game, I fear that the magic will be gone and this will just be a mystery game with nothing special. I find the new Nancy’s voice from the trailer (where you hear her speak full sentences) makes her sound arrogant, like the dialogue and her young voice don’t mesh well. I’ll still try MID when it comes out, but my expectations aren’t high. Here’s hoping.

I think they look great!! I can’t imagine how incredible they’ll look in higher resolution when the game comes out! I’m eagerly awaiting preorders!

The detail in the pictures is amazing, especially the shadows on the walls and around the objects in both pictures. The attention to detail on Judge Danforth’s jumper/sweater is wonderful, with the folds in the material and the edging around the neckline. I know these aren’t the final product, but a big shout out to your art department! I can’t wait to see more pictures.

Hey LJ I know you said this years ago when someone asked but since preordering starts in 18 days I was wondering if there really is going to be a bonus edition of MID? I figure if there is it should be announced relatively soon. Otherwise I might not preorder
