Corrie’s Nancy Drew Story

A great article was posted the other day about Nancy Drew. Read the full story about Corrie’s discovery of the books here on MarjorieMagazine called “Heirloom Histories: Sharing A Good Mystery.”

How did you discover the Nancy Drew books? Did you play the games first, or second to finding the games?

My family and I went to the library one day and they had games that you could rent for a week. Dad went over to the games section and came back with a copy of ‘The Silent Spy.’ I hadn’t heard of Nancy Drew until the. Ever since then I buy Nancy Drew games and my dad and I play them together.

My dad brought home Stay Tuned for Danger when I was in the 3rd grade. I have been playing ever since and I love going back to the first games from time to time. I can’t believe how fast 18 years have gone and how much the game play has changed.

What a great Dad! I honestly love Stay Tuned for Danger – despite it’s lower quality graphics. Eighteen years went by fast indeed! I still love revisiting the older games. Glad to hear you do, to! 😀
