Anniversary & Podcast (Weekend Puzzle #362)

Hello fellow Nancy Drew fans! It’s been a while since I’ve written – because there has not been very much news to report this season. 🙁 However, I do have a few fun things on the side to share this week.

For starters, listen to this great new podcast episode on iTunes here or in the YouTube video below. I met Mari several times before I joined the HeR Interactive team full time, so it’s exciting and interesting to hear her behind-the-scenes take on the games we worked on back in the day.

Also, we have posted our official Twitch party dates! Be sure to Follow us for free on Twitch here to get the alerts when we go live and to join the live chat.

Since I had some extra time today, I went ahead and created a weekend puzzle for you. The answer highlights a little-known Nancy Drew thing recently in the news for the Nancy Drew Universe. Enjoy!

Directions: Color in all letters to words that you find, then write out the hidden message from all unused letters on the grid. Suggestion: Print it out and use a highlighter or light-colored pen or marker. 😉

  1. Tina says:

When will the new Nancy Drew PC game be released? Also, has there been any thought of PC games based on Hardy Boys books?

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hello Tina! The next Nancy Drew game is set to release spring 2019. As for the Hardy Boys, we have thought about it, but have no plans at this time to make their own game.

The hidden message: Nancy Drew Comic Book By Dynamite

  3. Sapphire says:

Is MID still being worked on? Any more progress to share? Will the game be released April or May next year?

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hello Sapphire! We are still working on MID, but we have nothing to share at this time. The release date is set for spring 2019 – no other details have been released.

  4. Kris says:

You should still update every day. That’s what you said you were going to do when you started this blog. It’s not responsible to leave us hanging for so long.

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hello Kris, when I have permission to share details or have details to share, I will – as promised. At this time, I do not have any tidbits or behind the scenes info to share with anyone yet. Stay tuned for future news.

I’m sure you didn’t mean it this way, but your comment comes off super entitled. I enjoy the updates to the ASB too, but LJ is part of the marketing team. That’s her primary job. She wasn’t hired solely to run a blog. She chooses to do it as a way to interact with HeR’s customer base, which is a great thing to do, but again, it’s done for us. I don’t know of many other companies that run a blog where they interact directly with their customers.

If she has nothing to post, she has nothing to post. Is she just supposed to write “Nothing to share today, sorry” for two weeks in a row? What’s more, MID is set to release in a year. I’m sure LJ and the rest of the marketing team have been busy getting ready to promote MID. Have some patience and understanding.
