Twitch in the Fall!
It’s well into fall here in the Pacific Northwest and that means beautiful leaves falling, gorgeous sunsets, homemade soups, blankets while reading books, a cup of tea and a good show…. and Nancy Drew: The Captive Curse! Well, you may not think of CAP as belonging in the fall, but I do. Even though it takes place at night in Bavaria, Germany, I like to think November is the best month to play this game.
We start streaming live on Twitch again this week and then next week, for both Thursdays/Fridays. Follow us here on Twitch for free to get the alert when we go live, and to join the great community of Nancy Drew fans in the live chat feed. (That’s my favorite part: talking about the particular Nancy Drew game and sharing it with fellow fans.)
I’ll be making tea and I may bring a snack for the stream. Mark your calendar for this Thursday and plan on snacking on pretzels, black forest cake, apple strudel, and German sausages.
As for the weekend puzzle, the solution reads [The Captive Curse] which is the next game we are streaming. 😉

When I first played The Captive Curse the one thing I found surprising is that it took place on my birthday. Since the day of the festival was on March 13th and the day before then was March 12th which is my birthday.
Cool! STFD took place one one of my best friend’s birthday, November 13 🙂
Hi, is there any way I could still get a t-shirt even though my email entry didn’t seem to get through? I could try again at sending a screenshot of the email with the timestamp from before the contest end date.
P.S. I hope to join the stream 🙂
Sorry Mak, the entry window has ended. 🙁 But stay tuned for more contests and big sales in the future that include t-shirts!
If Mak can prove that he entered before the cut off he should get a tshirt. It’s not his fault if your email sent it to spam or something.
Hello Jen, I was frequently checking my spam folders during the entirety of the contest window. Unfortunately, I never saw his email come in or his entry be posted to Facebook or Twitter. There will likely be another contest like this in the future – which will be posted to the contest page.
But it could have been a technical glitch, meaning it wasn’t his fault. I agree with Jen. If he can prove that he sent it before the cut-off, then it should be valid.
Hey guys! Have you ever considered sending one of the Nancy Drew shirts to Lili Reinhart? They make so many Nancy Drew references on Riverdale. I’m sure she’d be thrilled!
That’s a great idea!
