As for the weekend puzzle that I missed talking about, here’s the solution: once you properly identify each game, count the letters in the game title to find your answer. It says [“Halloween Contests“].

Hi LJ, I have an in-game question about the game Alibi in Ashes. When Deirdre intercepted the note meant for Nancy telling her to go to the old town hall, how did Nancy manage to get the note if it was intercepted? Also why were there 2 copies of the same note; one from the beginning of the game that was slightly burnt from the fire, and one that was in a plastic bag which Deirdre gave us and Nancy used to analyse for fingerprints. I’ve finished the game but still don’t understand why the culprit would’ve written 2 identical notes for Nancy.Lastly, what’s the deal with the culprit disguising as Nancy? Apparently that happened but I have no idea when it did in the game or why they did that.

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hi Sapphire, in a conversation with Deirdre, she mentions that she intercepted the note, followed it up, didn’t find anything, and then re-sent it to Nancy to see if she finds something.

      • Sapphire says:

But did Deirdre see the culprit dressed as Nancy when she went to town hall? Also that meant Deirdre wrote the second note, right?

Will the podcast be covering MID anytime in the future (near or distant)? Last year we were told it would address MID at some point, and it’s been a while.

    • Little Jackalope says:

Hi Dany, it’s quite possible. However, we don’t have any current plans to talk about MID in a podcast. Perhaps in the future, though.

      • Sggoren says:

What happened to the update that was promised back in May? It was supposed to come “very shortly.” Why hasn’t it?

        • Little Jackalope says:

Hi Sggoren, I don’t have the update for you. Keep an eye out for it in the future, and I will be sure to share it on the blog when it’s available.

LJ, many people are wondering if MID will come out in October 2017 because MID is supposed to be Halloween-ish. Is it true?

    • Little Jackalope says:

It’s tru that MID is supposed to be Halloween-ish, but all others rumors are just rumors. All official news from us will be on our web site, once we launch that news.

  4. Jen says:

Why won’t Her just come right out and say “it won’t be out for Halloween this year?” I mean give me a break.

    • Mary says:

Agreed Jen! Quit stringing us along! Man this CEO must not care about having fans at all! Or a profit to keep things running for that matter

    • Sophia K. R. A. says:

How about you give THEM a break, Jen, they’ve received enough useless complaints from people.

      • Little Jackalope says:

Hello Sophia, please remember to be kind to others on the blog. They are not the cause of the matter. Also, we try to respond to every comment and bit of feedback that comes along, and we apologize if we do not get to all of them.

Thanks for saying this LJ. It’s really nice to see someone sticking up for our right to be frustrated. I know you get a lot of negativity about things that are outside your control, and I feel bad that you have to deal with so much of it, but I think it’s mostly because this seems like the only place where we are actually heard. So thanks for that too.

          • Little Jackalope says:

Hello Daae48, I wish I had more to share about the progress of MID. But thank you for your support! We try to answer all questions and comments on social media, and via email as we can. Also, to be consistent, we have the same message with our team for answering these questions, since we don’t won’t mixed messages and confusion about the information – it may appear as copy+paste.

  5. Thank you so much for another feature, LJ! I am honored to be mentioned again on your blog! I hope you, Tess, and everyone else at Her has a lovely weekend~ Much love!

The way this company has treated its loyal fans for the past few years is deplorable. I should have given up a long time ago, but I have been hanging on to a thin thread of hope. Unfortunately, that thread has finally snapped. I will not be purchasing this game. That is, if it even comes out. And on the miniscule chance that the company does not go under and produces more games, I will not be purchasing those either. I am done.

Figured out the puzzle. That one was difficult but fun! 😀
