I’ve been playing ND since I was 9 (for 18 years! What?) and I just want to say thank you. I see a lot of negativity toward HER right now, and, yes, the wait is hard, but thank you for what you do. I appreciate! I look forward to hearing more when you can!

This is so true! I’ve been playing since I was about 6 or 7 (15 years!) A lot of people don’t understand just how hard programming is not to mention programming for a new system. Unless you have some knowledge of coding it’s hard to understand what’s going on. To put it in perspective imagine creating a big mural by hand, being almost halfway done and then having to completely start over in a different place with material you aren’t used to or never used. That is what they are going through right now. They are having to take what they had programmed already and translate into the new program. They wanted to take our (the Nancy Drew community) opinions on what we’d improve and add to heart and add to the experience, which this new program allows. Hopefully this will help people understand just how hard Her Interactive is working and that it’s all to meet our suggestions and make our experience and the games just that much better.
While I would certainly like more information about MID, I am very appreciative of the things you have been doing lately, and I hope to see more colouring pages soon! (Could I make a request for DDI? I love whales! 🙂
OMG! Is it true that MID is going to be the LAST ND game? PLEASE DON’T TELL ME IT’S THE LAST ONE! 🙁

Hi LJ! I was recently watching some of HeR’s old videos. Do you remember when Ellie the intern said that there would be a “dynamic sleuthy duo” helping us out? Are you in a place to tell us whether or not there will still be a “dynamic sleuthy duo” in MID? A lot has changed since that video was made, and I don’t want to get my hopes up about it when it might not even still be true.
Hi Milly! I vaguely remember that, yes. But I don’t know exactly where this will happen in the games. Perhaps phone characters, perhaps in a future game. I do not know for sure. 🙂 Sorry!
We all love Her. Even the disappointed love Her. We may not be patient, but we love Her. We are all afraid She won’t be the same game we know and love, but when MID gets here, we will sleuth. Count on ND.

I appreciated the sale on Dossier games this last weekend. I purchased the Bundle, and have been playing them ever since. I have still to score high enough to view the “extras”. I don’t remember playing “Ship of Shadows”, the trailer at the end of Danger. Is it available?
As an aside, it would be great if you would run the digital sale on all games again, AFTER THE 15 TH of any month. I am jealous of the person who won the computer with all the games already installed. I own all the games, but need the DVD installed for many of the old ones. I would buy the digital copy of those games (even though I already own them) again, but I have been “data restricted” on those occasions when they were on sale. Thank you guys. We know you are all working hard. We know that HER is even more important to you then to us.
Hello again, Virgini! I’m glad you enjoyed the two Dossier games! (I do, too.) Ship of Shadows was never completed and was shelved back in 2009 or so. Currently we don’t have plans to work on it again. As for other game sales, we will certainly have more in the future! Keep an eye out on our social media sales for one-day sales, and be on the lookout around every holiday that we near. 😉
A million thanks for putting up with angry and frustrated fans here! I know how hard the wait is for us, but I can only imagine what it must be like for the team!
