Nancy Drew Lamp

In one corner of my office is a filing cabinet. How dreary! I placed the Charlotte doll there on top of it, but it was still not enough to fill the space. So this last weekend I bought a simple lamp with a simple shade for a fun project.

I printed out some favorite Nancy Drew shapes in black and white, and cut them out. I then taped them to the inside of the lamp, so that when it is turned on, you see the silhouettes.

I should have cut out all the white paper to make a stronger contrast, but I was lazy in the fine details. It still turned out pretty good, I think! If you are interested in doing the same project, you can download and print page one and page two of the shapes. Enjoy!

Side note: yesterday I noticed many fans having fun with the new Snapchat filter, so i joined in with Charlotte:

This is a thing!?!?!?!?!?! How did I not know this????

  2. I actually made one of my own yesterday! It’s on my nightstand, it was my Grandmother’s lamp, I remember when she passed away I looked some Nancy Drew stuff on the computer to comfort me! And a few months after, on my 15th birthday I got my first ND computer game
and it was “Warnings At Waverly Academy” and that’s when I started playing them
