Design Meetings & Twitter Party
November 11th, 2014
Today at Her Interactive we had a small meeting where we took a look at navigation, cinematic styles, cut scenes and different perspectives. Even though we are very familiar with how we do things while making the latest game, it’s always good to take a step back at its design and look at the big picture before zooming into the finer details of a game.
That was pretty vague, but that’s all I can share about our current games. 😉 I’ve already snuck in to take a look at some of the environments for SEA, which are looking fantastic so far!
Anyways, the latest news this week is our next Twitter party! Save the date!
Happy birthday to our fan!
-Little Jackalope
Hey Little Jackalope! I know that this is really off-topic from your post, but, I just noticed that some of the photos in older games are historical figures. Such as Johann Christian Bach in MHM; the one you get to look through his eyes. Would you happen to know who the whispering painting with the long powdered wig is? What a creepy moment that was!
Nick
The whispering painting? Do you mean in MHM as well? The one on the stairs that blinks?
Yes, in MHM. I believe it isn’t the one that blinks, but is directly above it. It has a red background and is a man (I think) with a long powdered wig. By the way, love all of your videos. I do professional video production and I am very impressed with the videos you put together Little Jackalope!
Small correction to my previous post. It is above and to the right of the blinking painting. In “Nancy Drew Moments #026” in the post titled “Little Spooks” it is the painting that is shown in full on the clip.
Off the top of my head, I am unsure! Sorry!
No worries! Actually just found it through some heavy research. It is William Vans Murray painted by Mather Brown.
We don’t have to be following the other accounts mentioned to join, do i? Also, what is the twitter party? Just talking about LIE?
We had a Twitter party last April, too. We post fun questions, trivia, facts etc. and people who participate may be prize winners. 🙂 You would need to follow us at the very least, but you may miss a few Qs if you don’t follow the other hosts.
You bet!
Hi, LJ!! I was wondering if I could get a birthday shoutout. My birthday is Nov. 21 and I will be 23. My favorite game is Secret of Shadow Ranch.
You bet!
