GTH Inspired Elements

Check out some fan art that Elizabeth B. created and sent to us!

I love the vintage look! Actually, looking at this reminds me…. we have some hi-rendered art of Charlotte that was made especially for the merchandise store… Oooo! New summer project for me, I guess!

Anyways, do you own an iPad, Kindle Fire, or Android tablet? Ghost of Thornton Hall looks reeeeeeeallly cool on a tablet! The animation and cinematics are way cooler than on the computer. (Sorry computers!) You thought the ghost looked creepy and eerie on your monitor? Try watching the ghost on the tablet…

I went snooping through the art archives and found some photos that were taken by an employee who visited Savannah, GA. We used several of the photos for texture and environment references. Here’s a photo of a road lined with trees and Spanish Moss. It’s a recipe for a creepy atmosphere!

Cool! I have a riddle for you.
Nancy Drew walks into a room. There is a man hanging from a ceiling fan(suicide) and a wet rug underneath. There is no ladder or anything that he can stand on in the room to reach the ceiling fan. How did he get up there?
Also, did you get the pics I sent in? The person who answered my email said she would send them to you.

Did he stand on a block of ice?

Also, yes, I believe I received your photos. I will share them later this week as I want to feature one fan art a day. 🙂

Thanks LJ for posting my Charlotte art! 😀 I do have GTH on my Kindle Fire….I loooveee it! And yeah, Charlotte is especially creepy on it! (but really really awesome) Heck, I love GTH so much I even wrote a fan-fiction about it! 😛 Also, I don’t want to sound weird, and I know this is off-topic, but I was just a little curious of how you guys at HeR think of such awesome names for your characters? I’m working on writing a mystery series, and thinking of character names is so hard! I was just wondering if you might be able to give me some tips? Thank you so much! 😀

That’s cool. That game was well put together. How come The Shattered Medallion didn’t have any outtakes or Bloopers. Those were funny. I think you should have a blog topic about the endings of the bloopers. What was your favorite ending of a Nancy Drew? Or what was your favorite outtake, after the end? Anyway, I like Danger on Deception Island when Andy Jason was about to strangle Nancy, and the orca bumped the air tank and hit Andy in the face and he twirled around and said “Nuts!” and then he fell. That was hilarious. My favorite outtake- the funny endings. Would be the Phantom of Venice when Fango tries to snatch the pigeon and he falls out the window and he yells up, “I’m Okay!” That really was hilarious. I like to play the game just to see some of the outtakes. Anyway, this is totally unrelated to this topic about Ghost of Thornton Hall. Anyway, that would be cool to see what other people’s opinions of game endings and they’re favorite outtakes would be.
