Marathon of Scares
I was trying to be more creative with my blog title, by re-using similar words from the past…eh…
Anyways, as we continue the Nancy Drew “Scary Game” marathon in preparation for Ghost of Thornton Hall, we finish up Legend of the Crystal Skull this week and begin The Haunting of Castle Malloy for the weekend.
For those who are following along, do you have a favorite part about Legend of the Crystal Skull? I sort of wish I could toss marshmallows to Bernie the way Reneé mentioned Henry Sr. did. And then I’d eat some marshmallows myself…I mean as Nancy. XD In real life, I’ve added “try gumbo from a food truck” to my adventure list of things to do. Haven’t found a truck with that food item yet, but when I do, it would be a bonus if the server or chef wore a red plaid shirt….haha.
A few more things to share! (Insider tip: if you really really want the physical copy of the BONUS EDITION for GTH, I overheard that we only have a few left. If you plan on ordering it, I would suggest ordering as soon as possible, like before the end of Saturday!) Anyways, we interviewed one of our artists, Jayme! Check out the YouTube video for an inside look to part of the creation of Ghost of Thornton Hall:
Weekend puzzle #195 is here, I promise. 😉
~Little Jackalope~
little jackalope, I was wondering if you were an intern or if you work at Her Interactive.
Oh and random question: whats your fave soda? I like ginger ale and root beer floats.
-silver pixies
Why is it that preorders can be made even after the game comes out (May 7th/ May 8th) to those who preordered?
3 words.. got an anagram puzzle and it turns out to be “Watch the fireplace”. OOOOO sounds interesting LJ. The hints just keep getting better and better 🙂
three words?
Hey LJ,
My 13th Birthday is on Tuesday, and all of my usernames and my nickname my sibling calls me is “Cocoa” (Or Cocoa Girl, but I prefer Cocoa), so I hope it’s not a bother if you could wish me a happy birthday, please? You have such cool birthday designs!
Thanks!
Cocoa <3

From me,
Silvertongue.
Dear little Jackalope and all the Her Interactive crew,
I wanted to thank you so much for making those interviews! We all get the opportunity to know the wonderful personalities of the team working together to produce hours of fun and mysterious entertainment !
I have always been a fan of Nancy Drew’s books and games since I was little when I used to read them in French and learn English through the games. I think she was called Alice in the books. I am now turning 19 on 3rd May and I am still a big fan of those games and a fan of your posts on this blog. I’ll still be a fan at the age of 80 🙂
Thank you so much for letting us into the world of Her Interactive through your blog and interviews. You are the best!
Stay Sleuthy !!!
Cécile 🙂
PS: I can’t wait for my pre order to arrive !!! 🙂

@silver pixies – I did start out as an intern before joining the team officially. 🙂 Oh, and you and I are alike, Root Bear is my favoritest soda ever! (All brands, too!)
@Rachel Stevens – It’s a special feature for our fans who follow us to get the digital game early, and for the physical games to ship out in time to arrive by the 14th (launch day).
@Cocoa – You got it! Happy Birthday!
@Breanna – 😛
@Silvertongue – The musical web IS pretty cool!
@Cécile – Aw, your welcome! We enjoy sharing our behind-the-scenes look at our work, and we are glad you enjoy the games! Thanks for being such a great fan!
