Lunch Adventure: Tacos!
Every once in a while a few elite members of the Her Interactive team dub themselves “The Luncheoning Group” and together they go on adventures. I joined the rather small group today in search of a new, exotic flavor across the sea (technically a lake) for our midday meal.
AKA, we drove over to Seattle to find a Mexican food truck. I consider this an adventure because it is a place I had never been to in a city I rarely visit. After ordering some delicious tacos and tamales, we snuck in to the abandoned building directly behind the truck where we met this amazing room! (And yes, we played a little bit of Foosball after we ate.)
Since I’m a fan like Nancy is for drafty, old, run-down buildings, I really enjoyed spending time here!
Have you explored old buildings like this before?
Oh, and head’s up! Tomorrow we are posting another interview. Stay tuned!

Was it really, like, abandoned? It looks like someone could live there. I’ve never been to a food truck. I’m glad you gad fun! Did you feel sbeaky playing foosball in the building? 😮
From me,
Silvertongue.
Yummy!:) Sounds like a great lunch break!
My sister is going to Seattle in a few months… without me. *sigh* 🙂 I know I’ll have my chance one day.
Yay! I’ll have ya’lls youtube pulled up all day:)
Hey, did you ever convince the rest of the team to add a Jackalope Easter Egg?:D
“Floorboards are either dangerous or great hiding places…”
Hmm . . . is this a hint?
Really interesting contrast between the table tops and the rest of the room. 🙂
Food trucks… Do you ever see food trucks serving gumbo with hot sauce in Seattle? 🙂
@Silvertongue – It kind of was abandoned, yes. (But it was super cool that way). Actually we felt rather welcomed with the tables the food truck had set out for their guests.
@Future HeR Animator — Ooo! Sounds like fun for your sister! Hope she has a travel! (No knews on the Jackalope Egg).
@Katy Williams – Maaaaaaaybe…
@ComicalCrafty – Gasp! I haven’t even looked for one! That is such a great idea, too!! Thanks for the suggestion!
