Behind the Scenes: We Knit
February 17th, 2012
There are a great number of us in the Her Interactive office who knit, and it has become such a great discussion topic that a group got together during lunch break and…well…knit! A couple little birdies told me about it so I grabbed my camera and snapped a few shots. Warning: when lingering for too long playing paparazzi, one is likely to get caught up in the activities, too. >.<
CEO teaching a Jackalope how to knit for the first time. That’s right, our designer caught me in the act…
This was for sure a new experience for me, and I only hope to become accustomed to this hobby enough to make something interesting, like the cardigan that our Lead Tester is working on, or our Controller’s floppy hat. ^.^

I wish I was able to knit! I have tried a few different knitting projects, but I’m certainly not the best at it. I bet you all had a great lunch! 😉 I’d love to see future projects, Jackalope! Thank you for sharing!

Hope you had fun learning how to knit!
Yes!!! Great games with puzzles, pink frosted chocolate cupcakes, prankster bugs on walls, AND knitting!!! It’s like heaven in the HeR house. Thanks for letting us peek….

That’s so awesome! I had no idea there were so many knitters at Her Interactive! Now it makes me wish I worked there even more, LOL (love to knit and huge ND fan). That’s so cool. 🙂
Great!
I love crafting in general. I plan to knit and crochet hats but it’s been so mild here. But there is talk of snow finally coming our way.
I learned to knit with Klutz Learn To Knit book/kit. It’s designed for kids but the people at Klutz know adults use their book/kits too.
Also, I use the free learn to knit videos online. http://www.knittinghelp.com is a good place to start.
She spins her yarn in the office. You know,I find the whole thing very intersting.I see all of you as Really modern because of the game but in reality, you are all very down to earth and relaxed(of corse you don’t need me to tell you that)
So does your CEO knit??
From me,
Silvertongue.
Wow thats so funny I had just gotten home from a girl’s meeting where i was knitting a scarf and the first thing I looked at on the computer was Amateur Sleuth blog to see any new posts. I saw this one about knitting as soon as i opened the blog. What a coincidence!
I only know how to crochet! I wish I could knit!
That is so cool! I’m an avid knitter, as is pratically everybody in my family. Thanks so much for sharing, Little Jackalope!!!! *heart heart heart heart*
Wow, I was really surprised to hear that your CEO knits! That’s so cool! A spinning machine wasn’t what I was expecting to see in HER either, haha. Hope the yarn didn’t get the best of you, Jackalope 😛
