Digital Download Instructions – Mac
How to digitally download Mac games purchased from the Her Interactive Online Store.
1) Log in to your Online Store Account then open your Order, or follow the download link in your Order confirmation email.
2) From the Order Details page, click the Begin Download button to start the download. Download progress is visible in the browser (e.g. Safari, Firefox, etc.) download window. We recommend you use Safari as your browser for the fastest download time.
3) When download has completed 100%, the downloaded .DMG file will be found either on the Desktop or in the Downloads folder (depending on User settings).
e.g. NancyDrew_Trail_of_the_Twister.dmg
4) Open the .DMG file.
5) Installer will open. Click Installer icon or text to start installation.
6) Proceed through installation. Click here for more help with Mac Installation.
After installation is complete, close Installer.
7) The game is now installed. To play your game, go to Applications folder and click game application file to run game.
8) After installation make sure to Eject the .DMG.
NB: Images using Apple OS X Lion. User experience may differ depending on OS X used.
digital down load taking 12hrs ???? what do I need to do to get it to down load
Has the game successfully downloaded? It could be the internet connection slowing it down.
Hi.
This is my first time downloading on to a Mac (I have previously downloaded 20+ games on Windows). I was able to download the file, but when I try to open the downloaded DMG file it starts to redownload the same file. Also should be noted that the file is a ‘.dmg.download’ file. Is that correct? I am going to let my computer redownload it, but any suggestions would be great.

I downloaded one of the games to my mac (running 10.10) and when I tried to open it a message pops up that there was image damage. How can I fix this?!! HELP. I have been trying all day to get this to work.

I recently purchased a digital download of Sea of Darkness for my Mac. The download goes well and when I try to open the file after installation it says it has ‘quit unexpectedly.’ I removed the file and tried re-installing it but it doesn’t help.

I keep trying to download a Nancy Drew game on my macbook air and the error message is ‘You can’t open the application “NancyDrew_The_Final_Scene_Setup-2.exe” because Microsoft Windows applications are not supported on OS X.’ I am not sure what to do to make this game work on my mac..
Hi Victoria. Unfortunately, games 2-21 are not Mac compatible. However, we suggest trying Virtual PC or a product called Boot Camp from Apple to play these on a Mac.
Will games 2-21 ever be mac compatible?

Um it said it would take 50 min to download, left it for 1 hours, now it says 2h 30 min! I’m using a brand new MacBook pro. high speed internet?????! pls help

I just downloaded the Mac version of Water’s Edge and I installed it fine but now every time I go to open and play the app it will show up in my dock for a couple seconds then just close. No error message or anything it just simply won’t open. Please help thanks!

I am unable to install the mac compatible version of Sea of Darkness on my mac OS Mojave 10.14.5. There is no application to install autorun.inf, and the download completed without errors. I have also tried downloading twice.

I was trying to install The Captive Curse on my Mac by the Mac digital download and I got an error that says this:

I downloaded ghost of Thornton hall and it’s asking for an installation code, which I don’t have, nor can I find.
