How To Back Up Digital Purchases
Here are instructions for backing up your purchased digital files from HeR Interactive! This could include games for PC, Mac, or other platforms, foreign language editions, strategy guides, and soundtracks.
Download Instructions
New Digital Purchases:
Download your game/guide via the buttons in your confirmation email.
If a prompt appears, click on Save (or Save File or Save Link As). Do not click on Run yet as this this can cause download problems. Do not rename the download file as this can cause installation problems.
You may also need to click “keep” on the download if your browser shows a warning message.
We recommend that you save the file(s) to your Desktop. You can save the download file anywhere you like, but please be sure to note that location. Once the download starts, you will see a pop-up with a status bar and a percentage that will climb to 100%. Allow the status bar to reach 100% before you try to run the game. Once the file is completely downloaded, double-click to start game installation.
Digital Purchases Before November 26, 2024
Log in to your previous Online Store Account or go to www.findmyorder.com and click on Find My Order. You can download by clicking the Begin Download button on the Order Details page. Click the Begin Download button once only. Do not double-click.
If a prompt appears, click on Save (or Save File or Save Link As). Do not click on Run yet as this this can cause download problems. Do not rename the download file as this can cause installation problems.
We recommend that you save the file to your Desktop. You can save the download file anywhere you like, but please be sure to note that location.
Once the download starts, you will see a pop-up with a status bar and a percentage that will climb to 100%. Allow the status bar to reach 100% before you try to run the game.
Once the file is completely downloaded, double-click to start game installation.
Once your game/guide has downloaded successfully, you can back up the downloaded file(s) to a DVD, flash drive, or other external media so that you will be able to reinstall the game or use your guide again in the future without having to re-download.
Flash Drive Instructions
1. Plug your flash drive into a USB port on your computer.
2. A small window may pop up and give you options for your flash drive, and you may hear a small sound to let you know the flash drive has mounted. If this happens, you can choose “Open folder to view files” (this is called “Autoplay”). If it doesn’t, you can find your flash drive icon listed in “My Computer”.
3. Next, navigate to the downloaded game installation file(s) that you want to place on your flash drive (for newer games with more than one file, back-up all of the downloaded files associated with each). Right click on it and choose “Send To” and then choose your flash drive in the list.
4. Wait until the file copies completely to the flash drive before removing the drive from your USB port.

Hard Drive Instructions
You can also install your game directly to the external hard drive:
- Run the Setup application file.
- Accept the license agreement and click next.
- Select “Browse…” and navigate to your external hard drive. Click OK.
- Click Next.
- Click Install.
Please note that since the game has been installed to an external hard drive, you will need to always have the external drive plugged in when playing the game.
Do not unplug the drive while playing the game. If you choose not to create a desktop shortcut, you will need to launch the game from the application file you installed to your external hard drive.

Dear Sirs. I have been given this game as a gift for Christmas by my son. He ordered the one for a PC not realizing we are now using a MAC. Could I please have someone tell me what to do to receive the MAC game instead. Thank you very much.
