we are unable to begin the Nancy Drew game because the screen is in a windowed format where the play icons are under the task bar. How do we change this back for normal play?

It looks like I am having a similar problem as the person above, although my buttons are not under the taskbar. I am playing the Sea of Darkness, and clicked Done in the Windowed format. The lower edge of the windowed format screen with the menu bar is off the lower edge of the monitor and I cannot drag the windowed screen high enough to get to the Setting button to reformat. Cannot get into game or anything now, just the intro screen, with the buttons of the edge. Is there a way to bring up the settings menu page by using the keyboard so I can reformat the windowed screen? Thanks.

    Hello!

I had the same exact problem as mentioned above. However, I was able to fix it by hiding my taskbar temporarily to access the bottom of the game window. Then I switched back into full screen mode, and when I was done, I un-hid the taskbar. Not a real fix, but it might work for some people!

Hiding the taskbar isn’t hard. Just go to “Appearance and Personalization” under “Control Panel” and find “Task Bar and Start Menu.” There should be an option to hide it there.

    Good luck!

Having the same problem with the tomb of the lost queen. Is there any F-Keys I might use to toggle back to basic screen?
