Patch – The White Wolf of Icicle Creek: S3/Via Unichrome Video Card

While playing The White Wolf of Icicle Creek, a smaller copy of the game screen blocks the main screen of the game, producing a “picture-in-picture” effect. This only occurs in systems using a 3/VIA Unichrome video card.

The S3/VIA Unichrome video card does not fully support all the components of DirectX 9.0 required to run our games. While we do not support this video card, we recommend running the game update, which may improve general graphics performance:
