HER INTERACTIVE ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

Developer and Publisher of Nancy Drew Games Welcomes Penny Milliken as CEO

BELLEVUE, Wash., Sept. 3, 2014 – Her Interactive today announced the appointment of Penny Milliken as chief executive officer and continuing member of its Board of Directors.  Ms. Milliken, who has served on the Board of Directors since 2003, brings more than 20 years of consumer entertainment experience to her new role as the company expands into new product offerings.  Ms. Milliken replaces Stuart Moulder who has served as CEO of Her Interactive since May 2011.

“Having worked with her for more than 10 years on the Board of Directors, we know this is the perfect time for Her Interactive to leverage Penny’s insights and experience as its new CEO,” said Bob Wallace, chairman, Her Interactive. “The Board of Directors is keenly aware that we have some of the most talented employees in the video game industry, and I know their zeal for success will only grow stronger with Penny’s leadership.”

Ms. Milliken has worked in the entertainment industry for more than 20 years with over 10 years of brand management and family marketing experience at The Walt Disney Company in the U.S. and Europe. She is credited with some of the most successful branding and franchise roll-outs for entertainment properties. Her broad entertainment background includes theme parks, motion pictures, feature animation, television animation, home entertainment, new media and e-commerce. Penny has an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from the University of Michigan.

“Her Interactive is one of those rare companies to have truly mastered the mystery adventure game genre, and I couldn’t be more honored to be chosen to lead this company,” said Penny Milliken, CEO, Her Interactive. “The opportunities for Her Interactive are enormous, but to seize it, we must focus clearly, move quickly, and continue to adapt our games to different platforms and playing preferences.  A big part of my job will be to accelerate our ability to bring innovative games and apps to our customers more quickly.”

In March, Her Interactive launched its first game app for iOS and Android tablets, Nancy Drew: Ghost of Thornton Hall. Her Interactive is currently preparing for the launch of its next title in its adventure series for the PC and Mac. Nancy Drew: Labyrinth of Lies will begin pre-orders on Sept. 9, 2014, and will be available at all major retailers on October 14, 2014.
