APRIL LETTER FROM THE CEO

It’s busy at Her Interactive HQ!

This month we’re excited to deliver on a bunch of initiatives at Her Interactive.

Updated Website

We’ve completely updated and refurbished our website. We have worked very hard to make the new website easier to navigate, brighter and cleaner in design and usable across desktop and mobile devices. You may have already noticed the new look on our message boards and our merchandise store.

One brand new feature is the staff highlights – now you can see and read about everybody who makes our games. I know many of you are interested in what goes into a Nancy Drew game and the answer is – a lot of work, from a lot of talented people. And now you can meet them all!

As you use the new website, please send us your feedback and let us know what you think.

The Shattered Medallion

We are currently taking pre-orders for our latest Nancy Drew adventure. Nancy and George travel to New Zealand to compete in the hit reality TV contest, Pacific Run. An old “friend” Sonny Joon runs the show, but it’s spiraling out of control. Are the mishaps the result of cheating competitors or something beyond this world? Win big to uncover the truth!

Nancy Drew goes Mobile

Earlier this month, we launched the first mobile port of our core line – Nancy Drew: Ghost of Thornton Hall for the iPad and Kindle Fire (and soon for Android tablets). Our goal was to deliver the full Nancy Drew experience without compromise. We have made changes to adjust the gameplay for a touch interface, but we have kept all the intrigue and challenge of the PC/Mac game. We have started work on Nancy Drew: The Silent Spy and will be bringing more of our games to mobile devices in the future.

I do want to assure folks that we are continuing to develop games for the PC and Mac and plan to do so indefinitely. The push into mobile devices will let you take our games with you anytime, anywhere but it will also attract new players to the award winning franchise.

Bring Focus to your Social Life

Finally, I want to tell you about a new mobile app that we have been working on. We know that many of you are frequent users of numerous social networks, and we created an app for people who love connecting socially – Focal. Focal is an app for iPhones and iPads that lets you see your feeds from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in a single app. You can personalize your view of those feeds to focus on the people and topics you care about the most. We believe focal makes your social network connections stronger and richer and would love to have you try it out and give us your feedback. The app is free (there are some in-app purchase options, but they are not required to use and enjoy the app).

I want to thank each and every one of you for being a fan and supporter of Her Interactive. Your loyalty touches us every day and we appreciate how fortunate we are to have such a passionate group of fans.

Thank you!

Stuart Moulder, CEO and everyone at Her Interactive
