1. Why can't I get at the picture of Marie in the Queen's Tower? 

Make sure that you go to Hotchkiss's room and view **2** items by the typewriter before you proceed to the picture of Marie. (The two items that you need to view are the Decoder and the journal translation)

2. Dexter told me to fix the circuit breaker. What do I do with it?

To solve this puzzle you need to remember the reason you are doing this....The professor complained the light in the back staircase is not working. Starting with the right side of the panel of switches flip one switch. Then go up the back staircase. Is the second floor light on? If not switch the switch back on and try the next switch. Keep trying switches. 
To complete this properly you need to switch only one switch and make the light go on.

5. How do I solve the 'Sly Rabbit puzzle? 

Try opening the globe (setting different latitudes may help you open it) and look at the number combination.

6. How do I do the leaf puzzle? 

This is like a jigsaw puzzle. Use the small circled arrow to turn the pieces around, and click on the pieces to move them around. Don't forget that for Jr. Detective , the inside of the puzzle is done already. However, for the master detective, you have to do the whole puzzle.

7. I've done everything. Checked out the library, talked to Hotchkiss, and no one will talk to me and I don't know what to do next. 

Have you heard any noises at night. Check it out, you might here them better above the elevator.

8. How do I get into the dungeon - Nancy keeps saying there's something in the way? 

Put the elevator on the first floor, then go into the library and thru the vent, down the rungs and you will be able to pass through without anything blocking the way.

9. How do I get the code for the Library? 
Look in the magazine in Nancy's room the magazine will show you how. 

I've already done that? 
Then find some where in the library that is really dusty (wow that hole in the wall looks really dusty). When you find that spot, use the paintbrush to dust it then dust the keypad.

10. How do I turn off the alarm in the library? Dexter keeps catching me!! 

You need to find another way in that won't set the alarm off. Maybe you just need a lift. (wink) Once you're inside the library, be wary of Dexter...also, the library is a bit dusty, isn't it?

Put it on the 1st floor. It will not fall there.
