Quandary - "The gameplay is the same as always and even people who have never played a Nancy Drew game before will pick it up easily…The graphics are once more impressive, no improvement but none was needed. The sound effects and music are again extremely well done and help to set the atmosphere and mood. The voices suit the characters, and the words fit the lip sync well, which I liked. I'm definitely not the biggest fan of poor animation but Nancy Drew games are always impressive and you will have no annoyance there…I had fun playing Danger on Deception Island. Over all another great game has been made by Her Interactive, well done!"

Adventure Gamers - "There has always been a certain amount of edutainment in the Nancy Drew series, and in some of the games, it felt too emphasized over the adventure aspect. However, Danger on Deception Island strikes a great balance between the two."     

PC Game Zone - Fans of Her Interactive's Nancy Drew adventure games can rejoice, this is yet another superb installment in a great series. Easier than some, older gamers may breeze through too quickly, this ninth entry is probably best for kids under sixteen, although older teens will still have fun even if it's an easy ride. A great selection for families with preteens and teens!
